Is there a time limit or a numerical limit on 'new posts?' Basically I was gone for over a week or so and yet only a few things have 'new posts' yet I see threads that were created while I was away that apparently have no 'new posts?' (also an entire secion called the arena with no 'new posts') As far as I understand it 'new posts' means, 'posts I haven't read.' Sooooo yeah. What's the deal here?

Hmmm.... is it possible you may have signed in, been distracted and had to sign out, then signed in again? Because otherwize, I have no idea why this would happen...

I'm not sure. The same thing happens to me - I'll log in, but my connection'll go screwy, and when I log back in, about ha;f of them are marked read.

Maybe when you posted that one thread a couple days ago, it marked those read.

Are you still reading this? No, seriously. You can stop now.

Fine. I'll write smaller. Stop now. Go away.

Please?

Did you honestly copy/enlarge this? Hahahahahaha

I think, whenever you log out, it starts all over again. So, if you log in immediately afterwards, only the things posted since you logged out last time will show up as "new".

When I think back, Maulkin's explanation seems to fit perfectly. Hmmm, kinda annoying but I'll deal with it.
