Alright, please don't vote unless it makes sense for you to. I don't want to say 'only programmers vote' but I don't want people who aren't going to be affected by the choice voting (but I threw in the last option for you.) With game maker we are able to use pretty much any standard image formats, we can have animating backgrounds. We can also use MP3s, WAVs or MIDIs for music. So it shouldn't be a problem for the spriters, background artists or the music people. (It also doesn't really affect the story people. At least, I don't see how.)

The poll is going to run for 7 days. That should be enough time for everyone I hope.

Sounds like a good idea to us Gil.

This sounds like a good idea, with one problem. We absolutely need Faceless' approval, because as it is several people may not be able to play Windows-only games.

That being said, I don't see an alternative and Game Maker looks very good in every other way. I say that we PM Faceless for approval, and then go for it.

Faceless gave it the A-okay, so I guess we'll see how the vote turns out.

It's the best thing we have so far, and checking it out, I vote alright.

I voted yes if we don't find anything better (like a skeleton model to work from, something like MUGEN but with a hella lot more freedom, doubt it though.
