I'm not certain what all is involved in making this program, so I'll need the programmers' input.

Edit: we now have some tentative goals.

1. Find out how M.U.G.E.N. works, and if that proves impossible, find an alternative.

Basically we want to figure out what we're working with first, so we'll work on figuring out what makes M.U.G.E.N. tick.

Once we have that done, we'll wait for the rest of the project to get together, and then the actual and mind numbing work can start! Awesome

Also, we may have impose restrictions on what exactly we can do. The main thing is most likely the resolution of backgrounds and character moves. We might not be able to implement all moves exactly how people have written them in the character section. However, for now the main thing is to look at it and see if we can pull if off using this M.U.G.E.N. and if not, find something else or cut back on several things.

Well... we thought so at first, but then we found out M.U.G.E.N. may not be the best tool for our purposes, we're still exploring possibilities.

I think we're about in the end of our "searching" period, and we're deciding to go with this new program we found: Game Maker 7, that is, if we don't find anything better in the 2 week period.
