I would ask that the "GONE" and "left the forum" title be removed from my nameplace.

Oh, okay. Well, if he actually comes back and starts posting, I'll remove it. If not, I don't want new members to get frustrated by trying to talk to people who aren't here anymore.

I don't see how new members could mistakenly try talking to someone who hasn't been on since before they even joined, seeing as I've not posted anything.

And yes, my computer was out of commission for a month.

Whether I'll start posting here again in the near future remains to be seen, but I'd like the title removed, regardless.

*shrugs* Okay. But, if you don't come back for a while, I'll give you a "Lurker" rank, and if you stay gone, I'll put the "Gone" rank back up. There have been several instances of new people trying to talk to old, and this is a good way to tell them that the person they're talking to isn't here/will take a while to answer.

But still; if a person has left the forum, why should they care if they have a "GONE" sign above their heads? It's not offensive or anything...
