| So, it appears that I am the only one here who liked the old layout better.....

| Greetings.
I've been lurking on the LJ 'forum' reading up, and ive noticed how some disagree with the chosen quote.
Here's my suggestion. have a few images, all with different quotes, that are randomly dragged up to be the header. Unfortunately i have no idea how difficult/easy this would be to implement.
if not to hard a task, you could even get a big thing going, a suggest a quote kind of thing. |

| The quote should be "Bask in my monocular glory."
I, for one, prefer this new-fangled white design, though what I'd like best is something with a tad more personality. |

| I'm still trying to figure out why some of these things are in spanish (or french, or something).
And as for the "the background is nice, but I'd like a bit more personality": we were just trying to settle on what coloration we're going to have for the background, but we still have to figure out what we'll use for icons and such. If anyone can make their own set of icons for this forum and post them, they'll be voted on. Otherwize, I'll make my own buttons _________________

| I like the off-white background better than the dark blue one that you had on before. And it'd be cool if the quotes could be rotated. |

| | I just joined yesterday, but to be honest, I liked the way the forum looked yesterday better...This is realy bland. The only thing that I thought could use a change (and I didnt even mind them) were the red and green "buttons" beside the post titles. |

| This is done in VBulletin, right? Doesn't VBulletin allow for multiple style sheets that the users can switch between? The white one seems okay, but people have expressed interest in the D-Blue/Blue background and a Black/Black one may turn out useful.
As for the quote, how hard would it be to have a rotating one? Maybe it could even be random per page, instead of random per day. |

| No, this is not V-Bulletin, so the individual user cannot chanege how they view the site. And, while it may be possible, I have not found a way to have individual headers for each category. _________________

| Maybe this could solve the one-skin-only problem?
I'm not very familiar with forum software, unfortunately. |

| Ah, no, sorry. This forum isn't text based (or, if it is, the only interface I use is not a text based on). Sorry, but I can't/don't know how to get into the code. If I did, there would be a "quick reply" option available. _________________

QFT.
This isn't bad though. Brings back some old memories actually. _________________ "Bears have penises. They can stick it in butts." ~LS |

| Okay, now you guys need to start submitting buttons/alerts that we may use on this forum, since the symbols I was using weren't sufficient.
Edit: Oh, wait, what if I just used the symbols alone, without the big blocks around them? _________________

| I had a further idea on my rotating quotes idea.
you could have a few 'character banners'
ie one with a picture of donovan and his 'real men wear pink' and a spark one with 'DEATH FROM ABOVE!!!' _________________

| Well, if Link can photoshop some pictures, I wouldn't mind using them. I could rotate them once every week. _________________
