For what it's wortha, I think the quotes should all be silly ones. Serious quotes don't fit the mood well.

Hmmm....with the Melna/Iakka takka banner, I'd suggest either changing the picture to one better suited to the phrase, or changing the phrase to better suit the picture. Sad Melna saying Iakka takka just doesn't really fit that well.
