| These rules are specific to the Plot Discourse category.
When making a comic about the day's thread:
1. You cannot make it before the comic has actually been posted. 2. The introductory post must comment on the day's strip somehow, and not simply be "lol first post" or something generic. Edited for clarification: a generic post would be something like "I liked today's art" or "today's comic sucked". You have to give reasons why you feel as you do.
(While I suspect thatrule 2 makes rule 1 pointless, I have no doubt that some of you would somehow find a loophole if I did not put rule 1. Like, making a correct prediction or something.)
Jack: This is mainly just an expansion of the rules Maully put in place. If you can't be bothered to read it, it's basically just the same thing.
Oh no! The comic today has had twins/triplets/quadruplets! If there are multiple daily comic threads, as a rule of thumb, the one that is posted earlier should win.
Deviation A: If one thread is posted first with just an "I got the thread" comment, and another is posted second with a thoughtful comment about the strip, the second would win.
Deviation B: Both threads comment on the strip, yet are posted in the same minute. Even when this happen, provided there are no other posts, the one closest to the bottom of the list would win. Otherwise, if there have already been posts and it can't be determined, go by which one has the most posts.
SMUT's come and gone. Can I still post the daily comic thread? I'm afraid not... but you can post in the thread that Saint made about SMUT being late. Hopefully it'll hover around the top, unless of course SMUT's being pretty regular. But then we don't have a problem. =3
It's not fair! My comment was longer/they only won because they had more posts in the thread/I never win this stupid game. If all else fails, I can always merge the two threads. It's like one baby eating it's twin for sustenance.
Why do we need so many rules? You're ruining the game! Yeah, I know. But I usually like to declare who wins and who loses, and I'd like to put down a set system so at least we have some consistency as to what threads get axed and what ones don't. _________________

Can you really not just, you know... merge thread? |

| If it were a few incidents, that'd be fine... but it's been happening too often, and it's ruined an unofficial 'game' that many forumites love. _________________
