Yes, I know, Tim has shown he can operate fine without eyes. I just find the thought of him wandering around in the wilderness bumping into trees and tripping over small rocks for four months to be funny. |

| A real name is supposed to be... common I guess. Mythos sounds like a superhero name, or something equally aliasish.
I'll just pretend I never saw this, I clearly said in another forgotten thread that I like mysterious characters as long they keep what makes them mysterious... LIKE TIM'S REAL NAME.
I would have prefered the excuse "Tim erased his real name from existence so well that even the writer doesn't know it!"
Why am I having a Dragonball flashback from the first Moon Monkey appearance?... Oh yeah! "This is so unexpected that even the writer didn't see it coming!" Not the real wording... my bro only has the mangas in french... not in the mood to seek the real english quote...

| Mythos is too fantasy cliche. That's my issue with it. Dominic's a good name. Why? It's common but not everyday.

| That's probably why Mookie never used the name. It was his name while he was in development. The character himself probably doesn't have a real name, or, if he does, it's probably not Mythos.

1: You're assuming he's fully in control of those tentacles; to me, it looks like he's fighting them. That could very well be slowing him down.
2: Yes, he needs/wants the Gauntlet. However, every time he's gone up against the Deegans, he's lost. Back in the day, he usually had allies, however dubious (first the hatchet-man, then Karnak, along with a crucial assist from Amelia); now, he has none. These two facts alone might be making him a bit more cautious. He could be recruiting more allies, or formulating additional plans.
3: Suppose he doesn't have long-distance travel-magics. There's no telling how far he started out from Callan. This argument applies to Celesto, for that matter, since we do know they started out within sight of one another, even if they later split up.
4: Dominic's vision of TIM emerging from the vine-pod could have been a future warning, rather than a vision of things as they occured. Thus, TIM could still be... gestating, or whatever.
Should the lag be explained? Yes. It should have a reason, a reason that fits the plot and the characters involved. But that doesn't rule out the possibility of one existing, nor does it have to be the bestest reason evar to work. |

oh wow. .that crazy man description doubles as a description of the town drunk.
HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN DRUNK AND HAD A REALLY BAD 5 MONTH HANGOVER!
That or tim woke up in a town full of free thinkers who changed their cloths frequently and decided Violence just wasn't the way. |
