| I don't think so. But one of the jokes is that all the characters shown are "friends." _________________ This signature is a line of text meant to signal you that the post you are reading has ended. | Posts. Honestly, I just like reading "Pearls Before Swine," and this made me think of some of the things both here and keen (but mostly the whole "I"m making a separate thread" incident with gator). _________________ This signature is a line of text meant to signal you that the post you are reading has ended. Fucking safety is very important. Key: use a condom. Also: avoid creeps, skanks, unstable positions, sharp objects, and especially any combination of those. _________________ Avatar by NJ Huff of Emergency Exit |

| Yeah, the anonimity of the internet can certainly embolden those who would normally be too pre-occupied with public perception to stymie themselves.
It's the same thing that brought about Godwin's Rule. http://xkcd.com/261/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law
Though it doesn't seem to stop the stupid or politicians. |

Not true. Most politicians are quite smart, and even the mediocre ones usually aren't bone-stupid (although there are exceptions). One of the things these very smart people realize, though, is that a large percentage of the body politic is shockingly ignorant, and often stupid to boot. Thus, it is to their advantage to make blatant appeals to that stupidity. |
