I smell a time-jump in the comics. Maybe weeks have passed, and they just weren't very interesting weeks.

YARR! It also be pirate sailing, which is infinitely faster and more profitable than regular sailing!

Like most heroes, they travel at the speed of plot.

Now you want to make me dig out an old Marilyn Manson disc. The one with that "speed of pain" song on it.

"Speed of plot" is accurate. It was a three-off strip that:

1: Mentioned the illegality of teleportation;
2: Gave us a quick peek at a segment of the Archipelego's culture;
3: Got in a few jokes and the always-popular Swabby Spark.

It needed to do no more than this, and really, we need to get on with the actual plot of Dominic trying to explain to Jayden and Milov why, exactly, Siggy is Karnak's gimp.

YARR! Quite right! I can normally sail long distances in a single day, and gain a tidy sum of loot while doing so.

Maybe it's not very far away? Too far to swim and teleportation is out of the question.

While I agree that the speed of the voyage seems unusually short, it's better than a week of Dominic talking on a boat .

Fine. Next time I make a discussion thread, I'll use a lame pun.
