| I think Mookie just couldn't come up with an explanation. He did the old, "Um, a sorcerer did it. OMIGOSH is that a demonic duck of some sort?" *runs* _________________ http://a3d.comicgenesis.com |

| Maybe Dominic is trying to cover for the fact he doesn't know?
Gregory is really short now. : D |

| Well, personally that was enough sense for me, considering it's fantasy. Gets dark when light shuts off. Good enough. Magic to me is mostly metaphorical, so meh.
At least they don't lose powers when you speak their true name! That's true nonsense, but still metaphorical.
| Spoiler: | | | That's how it works in The Black Company, all mages got an alias then as soon someone learns their birth name they're DOOMED! |

| If magic just doesn't make sense, why is there an entire academy devoted to studying it? Why do spells never fizzle?
I know you like pulling stuff out of your ass, Mookie. Why don't you take your head out next? _________________ HUK THAK |

| This has shaken my faith in Mookie, this newest development....
I mean, if he had a White Fire before, why was his hair red and not blonde? Why the rise of facial hair?
Then again, if I was writing a comic for five years straight with seldom a pause, I doubt I'd be near as coherent.. |

| I think that maybe we're being a little hard on ol' Mookie. It's an amusing development, regardless of the explanation.
Hey, maybe the Snowsong lady will confuse him with Dex or something, and hilarity will ensue! _________________ http://a3d.comicgenesis.com |

| I do admit that when I write my own stories, I just make up whatever stuff I feel like doing for the heck, like turning my sorcerer into a half-lich quarter-drow quarter-vampire just for angst issues. Then I elaborate the logic after messing with my characters and tweak in consequence... and no still haven't figured out something coherent for my angsty messed sorcerer yet.
I admire Mookie for keeping a story going daily, but that method doesn't allow you to go back on old ideas you had and elaborate that much.
Some webcomics manage though, like Vlad in EGS that was nearly completely remade since its first shadowy introduction to the actual meeting.
So I'm keeping my faith that Dominic is just trying to be relax and just not care about the real reasons as long his brother is not turning into a mini Jacob. _________________ Also known as Undead Katharos

Minus the author/head/anus section, I'd have to agree 100%. I'm down with a little fantasy-ism...but not when you spent 5 years dedicating magic in this world to be a science. :P |

| There are plenty of aspects of the real world that science has yet to explain. Why should magic be any different? _________________ http://a3d.comicgenesis.com |

It was probably unnecessarily harsh, but you must admit it was witty. _________________ HUK THAK |
