Couldn't agree more.
I actually find it realistic that they'd remove Dominic from the job... but less realistic in the fact they'd fire him instead of giving him leave. You'd think they'd just send Professor Deegan off on an extended vacation until he was feeling better, instead of firing him for mental health issues.
Huh. Isn't that discrimination? Firing someone for an illness that is beyond they're control? And doesn't this show that by firing Dominic, the school system is rejecting those who have suffered from mental illness, which is somewhat ridiculous in an environment that would be intellectually stressful? Hell, wouldn't Miranda acknowledge that giving her son unpaid temporary leave is better then firing him, which is bound to further corrode his mental state? And aren't the sufferers of mental illness entitled to employment also?
Dominic should sue the school for discrimination. :P
