It's not discrimination to want a teacher who is potentially mentally unstable out of the school, it's a very real concern. It is however odd as you pointed out that Miranda fired him straight off the bat instead of trying to come to a compromise. That's what makes me think that even she is worried Dom is going to have that massive seer mindbreak thing.

And you're right. I understand why parents and even students would be worried about a mentally ill and possibly unstable teacher, it could be a very concerning situation, as you said... It's just the firing bit that gets me. Couldn't she have let him at least resign to save face?

Jack you have to remember. Penilopi(sp) the pain. She does not need logic to bitch. And remember, a lot of people think like her. While this is a good place discrimination is not uncommon. I'm sure the parents don't want their kids learning from a guy who "could snap and kill them all." So rather than pull their kids out they would rather just get rid of a teacher.

Yeah I kinda hope you are right, she is kinda funny. She is not fond of the Deegans, or Lunda I suppose, and she does not use all forms of logic which is always funny. And your version looks more right.

Dominic didn't necessarily get fired. All we know is that he is not working at the school right this minute. Prento is his biggest fan. He may have over-exaggerated a bit.

I could try to predict what's happening here. Maybe I will.

I wouldn't say chances at crazy-Dom are gone. This could just be a trick- making everyone believe that something like Mindbreak isn't real (and discrediting Prento) before something happens that REALLY triggers it and then everyone is all "wtf" and he is like "I KNEW IT."

As for the gibbering being over so quickly...I'm actually quite glad. It was actually more painful to watch than anything for me (in an "Oh god, man..." kind of way). Continuing on like that would seem kind of over the top.
