Fact: I decided to see Charlie Bartlett because the advertisement favorably compared it to the successful Juno. The obvious references to Rushmore, Pump Up The Volume, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off made the character that much better. I was, like, totally so blown away. It made me feel good about deciding to watch the movie. I think I'm a better person, now.

| ZOMG BARNET AND JACOB SOHOULSD TOTOALLYKJ HOOK UYP
I take back what I said about there being "a ridiculous number of Travoria sisters." Four isn't that many, and combined with their mother probably being an insensitive slut, I'm not surprised. And if all that Donovan backstory leads to a fourth Deegan child, that parallels nicely. Or it does already, with Amelia strangled and all.
It surprised me a bit, but I'm not that weirded out by "Barnet". (I think of Garnet from FF9.) It also sounds like a strong, not very feminine name. Pretty befitting I'd say. |

| Croona Travoria was weird. She gave her supposedly "ugly" daughter a normal, even nice, name while the normal-looking one gets the name that no one wants to touch with a 39 and a half foot pole. Does this seem odd to anyone else?
PLOT TWIST: She was named by a seer. That's why she hates them so much. O SNAP _________________ "You may need to metaphorically make a deal with the devil. By 'devil' I mean robot devil and by 'metaphorically' I mean get your coat." ~Bender from Futurama

| *has a ding* I think I know mookie's twist.
Barnet's trying to protect Luna. I can imagine that there are people who would use the power to see the future as a weapon. _________________

| But why would she have left home, then? Unless she was protecting Luna from, you know, herself and her own mad skillz (which would make her much more egotistical than I could handle), it would have always been easier to protect her if they had been together. And Luna wouldn't have tried to kill herself multiple times if she'd had some protection on the home front. _________________ "You may need to metaphorically make a deal with the devil. | Hey, funny thing that they called barnet the "jacob" of the travoria family, because from where i see it, that black sheep honor in any case would go to luna dont you think? i mean, overall the travoria family has probed that they are mostly evil, luna being untill now the only exception, likewise, all the deegan family are a good bunch, except for jacob...
So... summing up.. luna would be more suitable for the term "the jacob of the family" dont you think?
(also, hi to everyone, evidently im new here, also, apologies in advance for the many grammar errors i have, im mexican and i still have some quirks with some grammar rules) |
