| I totally agree with Milov in this one. Yes, Dominic, we understand Siggy is in hell....but at least Milov would've attempted to have done something, and even if it didn't work, he'd feel better for having tried.
Dominic plays God a lot. I think thats what I dislike about him compared to earlier Dominic.
As for the big face of doom...well, we figured that'd be our one panel tomorrow.
Come on Mookie, spoil us with an actual strip tomorrow. pleeeeease. T_T |

| If tomorrow's splash is Siggy doing something naughty with Jayden, I'm gonna be disturbed.
Today's strip was good and dramatic, I liked it well enough, although the masked Siggy doesn't really make him feel like Siggy for me. I can't help thinking of masked guy as some new character, just because I'm so used to identifying the characters by their faces. |

| It makes sense that Dominic wouldn't have tried anything. Siggy's going to hell, and his becoming Karnak's disciple is Dominic's fault. Well, unless you want to argue that Siggy would go to hell anyway, but regardless when Karnak is done talking to Dom you pretty much get the feeling like all the bad crap that happened in the Storm of Souls happened because of Dominic.
After a blow like that it would make complete sense that Dom wouldn't try to "save Siggy". However, after an entire year he doesn't even TELL people who do want to help? That is a bit unacceptable. And I can see why Milov would be pissed, even though Dom has every reason not to try. _________________

| Guess you forgot the "Power of Legacy" speech from the end of the War in Hell. He didn't tell them because he wanted them to remember Sigfried as the friend he was, not the hellbound lackey he is now. _________________ A healthy dose of insanity each day keeps a person sane.

| No, I remembered that part. I also remembered thinking "wow, that's a dumb decision that will blow up in your face" at the time.
And look what happened. _________________

| | Y'know, I just noticed that siggy's mask is the same shape as the black fur patch on Milov's chest. |

| Patch of fur... hey, maybe that's the symbol of the Pack, so when Siggy went in Hell, his concealment took the shape of what was dear to him in life. His old virtue was expulsed of his body to cover the devil he has become... and since he didn't have that much virtue he's partially naked.
That or it's just a coincidence.
Also for Jack's "I feel like it's a different character", to me he is, he is Siggy after he lost his knighthood, free will and humanity, all that remains now is his hatred, wrath and memories, so it's logical that he appears as a faceless spirit to me. _________________ Also known as Undead Katharos

I can see that. I figure Dominic felt it was an alright decision. After all, it'd worked for Donovan for years.
See, where Dominic made the mistake is (I'm guessing here) he thought "That's a good idea. What could possibly go wrong?"

| | Meanwhile, I ALWAYS felt 'the Power of Legacy' was the stupidest thing to come out of Donovan's bard-hole, including random comments about landmasses and kittens. Hell, if anything, his denial about Karnak's potential for evil allowed them all to get blindsided by the K-ster's climb to power. Had he actually thought it through, he would've realized that Miranda could possibly keep tabs on Karnak, even if they didn't, y'know, succeed in helping him. |
