Okay, so I've been trying to find someone, anyone, besides me, my friends, and random people that randomly message me on LimeWire, who listens to Boards of Canada. Anyone here know them?

Also, has anyone else ever felt like that when looking for fans of a group?

i have yet to encounter someone who likes, or even knows crossfade....

Crossfade had a moment in the limelight here in the States. One of their singles was on the radio a lot a while back, I think it was called Cold.

o-o And I live just outside Chicago, and in my high school there was a bunch of Dir en Grey fans. But most of them were super into the Japanese culture, so they were biased.

Umm... way back when I listened to the Dresden Dolls and was so sad there was nobody to talk about them with me. And then a few years ago everybody found 'em.

An ex-roommate of mine and myself through him are the only people I know who have ever heard of Chimiara; however, apparently they're well enough known that you can find stuff on them on Limewire and stuff. Same way with Nightwish and Sonata Arctica... they're well-known everywhere I go on the internet, but no one I know IRL has ever heard of them (except of course my sister-in-law, who heard about them online and thus introduced me to them).

Not a big deal for me though, as I rarely talk with people offline about music....

Hahaha yeah! cold is awesome, that was the first song i heard from them also, and perhaps i dont know much about that moment because i am stuck in the unncool part of north america XD.

also amaya! you have a friend here! i do know about the dresden dolls, not a die hard fan, but i do enjoy some singles like coin operated boy or "my alcoholic friends"

Yay Dresden Dolls! I'm a big music crazy-girl. I was studying music for a while as a vocalist, but I don't want no performance degree, it's a waste. Anyway, I love their lyrics and everything, but some of the musical things they pull really catches my attention, and I get all excited.
I often randomly burst out with "METER CHANGE!" or "MINOR TRIAD, WOO!" when I listen to music. I'm a music nerdddd.

jajaja nice, well, if you liked cold, you should try listening a bot more from them, "invincible" and "starless" are some of my personal favorites.

Also, i cant say im a music nerd myself but i do enjoy it quite a bit, i actually went to music class as a singer also for two semesters, but then i realized that i was really nothing special, that and the fact that the college got harder and demanded more time XD
