Tech question for those who know about this kind of stuffs. I recently bought a new game that requires a 2.4 GHz processor to run, but upon getting home, I discovered that my laptop only has a 1.73 GHz processor. Now, my laptop has a duel DVD and CD player, and insists that the game installation disc in a CD, when it is definitely a DVD. Would the inappropriate processor be an issue big enough that it would cause the player to not even recognise the DVD as a CD? It's the only thing I've come up with so far. Everything else appears to be up to scratch. :(

Edit: Sorted the issue. I hereby declare this topic to be about lolcats.

And for those who don't really care, lolcat is disappointed in you.

Neverwinter Nights 2. I waited until I could actually afford it. The gameplays a bit repetitive, but it's okay.

I tried the game, wasn't much for it.

You would be better off getting Dark Messiah.

I probably would... To wikipedia, to check it out!

But either way, it was only forty bucks for the game and two expansion packs for the first Neverwinter Nights, so I wasn't turning that down. The only problem is that even if I give my character an evil alignment, I feel really terrible if they do evil things. So even my evil characters end up good. ;_;

I always end up feeling like that anytime I make an evil character on games. I don't mind so much the destruction, but it makes me feel so brutal when I kill innocent people... Plus, being 'good' is always more productive and easy.

I play chaotic evil.

No alignment issues for random slaughter there!

I play all over the alignment spectrum.

However, I play online NWN (NWN2 blew badly in the online sector, so I abandoned it), so the problem of scripted scenarios and feeling bad about doing evil things doesn't bug me so much. Plus, real people are more entertaining to talk to than NPCs anyway. Razz

Yeah, had that problem with Morrowind. It was fun killing poor townspeople for a while... then I started feeling guilty... especially when i realised that they didn't have much money and would have been able to give me quests if I hadn't killed them...

Heres a Morrowind money tip: 'acquire' an ordinator helm, then walk around in front of them. They will attack you every time they see you from that point onwards without you taking the blame. Every ordinator you kill has around 50000 gold worth of armour and weaponry on them, not a bad thing if you sell it to the talking mudcrab merchant.
