| | Quote: | | Currently wrapping up its third season, Avatar has been a great success in large part due to the contributions of the Korean animators. “I didn’t expect too much when Bryan and Michael first approached me about his new show Avatar,” confessed director Jae Myung Yoo. “But they had absolute confidence in their creation and led me to believe that we could collaborate to create something memorable.” |

| It's true.
Korean animation is cheap, and easily some of the better looking. |

| alright people listen up and stop arguing:
Almost all animation is now done through Korean Animation studios.
That's because it's the cheapest way for producers to get around "guild fees" and "contract fees" you find here in america.
That does NOT mean that said shows are "korean". It means the "animators are from korea."
The actual producers, concept art, direction and scripts are still written in America.
-_-
Avatar is an American show, American creators/directors with some great Korean animators. Just like The Simpsons. _________________

That's actually a technique used in film to make the fight seem more hectic. The thing is they overdid it a bit with Bourne making it so basically the camera went spazz as they moved. |
Which is exactly why some of the fight scenes sucked.
But it was good...although I hated the ending very, very much. _________________ check out my art blog and devART.

| The thing I personally have with fighting scenes (especially 'final boss' battles) is that the music will influence a great deal on how I find the battle. I've something with music, don't need to see the movie almost, music is enough. So music makes a fighting scene great for like 45%, another 30-40% is the choreography or whatever you call it. Everything else is a small influence you can see. I'm probably just shallow. _________________

| Music and Sound editing do have a lot of effect on fight scenes. _________________
