| Hmm, interesting character to say the least, and different of waht we have seen here, just, personally would like to know more about the slingblade and the shield, how do they really work and all.
(and yeah, i think you should specify what is in the toolbox.)

Looks: 5'6, and relatively skinny since she has a great metabolism. She has her dark brown hair cut up near her ears, with some layers and bangs. Blue eyes, peach-colored skin.

Personality: Quiet, observant, clever, and somewhat sarcastic.
Occupation: Photographer
Clothing: A button-up shirt, a traveler's vest, light cargo pants, and tennis shoes.
Skills: Taking photos, great reaction time, and can come up with the craziest ideas and tricks. She also is a fast runner and can hide herself pretty well.
On Hand Resources: A digital camera (Hasselblad H3DII-39, 39 Megapixel, SLR Digital Camera, as well as a couple extra memory discs to save photos on, and a camera handbag, and a cloth for her photo lens), hand lotion, a water bottle, sunglasses, a wallet with some cash (100 bucks at most) and I.D., and two handheld transceivers.
History: Madyson doesn't have much of a family background since she was placed into different foster homes since the age of 3, and thus only knew her “families” for a short span of time. Each family treated her pretty well, but had trouble with Madyson's rebellious streak. Once she was accepted into college, though, her life began to look up for her since she finally had freedom and independence. Her passion was photography—she loved expressing emotions through pictures, as well as the memories and stories which photos seemed to express so well, so she took a major in Photography. She also found a group of friends that she could call family in her college dorms, and after graduating, she kept in touch with them.
Unfortunately for her and her friends, the new career she received as a photographer for The New York Times caused her to travel a lot and not see her friends as much...that is, except her close friend Joshua, who became a journalist and worked together with Madyson. They traveled a lot of places, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Darfur, and Uganda. Their perceptions of the world turned upside down after seeing the poverty, corruption and violence that struck these countries, and they became more cynical after the fact as well.
Right before the outbreak Joshua and Madyson were on their way towards New Hope to do, what they both called, “boring” interview with the subway company. But that was what their company called them to do; and they knew if they didn't get good ratings on this task, they weren't going to do anymore of the exhilarating tasks that they loved so much about their jobs.
But on their way to the subway company, they ran into something completely unreal and unexpected. It was then that both Joshua's and Madyson's lives were torn apart.
Interesting Facts: She hates being called Maddy, secretly because it reminds her of her former friend that used to call her all the time...but she'll say it bugs her because she just hates the nickname.
Also, she has an uncanny sense of figuring out people--if they're hiding something, what their intentions are, etc. You can imagine how well she could interpret Joshua, then--from a simple sigh or hand movement she could probably tell what was up with him.

| Hey, Marsco and I have been talking about the possibility of making a map of New Hope in case we want to be able to refer to specific places. It'll also give us an idea about how far away everything is from everything else, which is good because a lot of this RP is moving kind of fast. It's a city, remember - blocks in a big city are fucking huge.
If anyone likes the idea, we've also drawn up rudimentary plans for a really simple and unlabeled map and are currently working on a better version.

I like the idea, and i also think it would be good to come up with a timeline too, In order to keep things more or less synchronized, and have a better bearing on time.
(And DF where is your character??? >< im lost without my better half! :P)

Just a few things:
There needs to be visible zones. Industrial, Commercial, Suburb Residential, Urban Residential, and Recreational.
I request there be a large park toward the center of the city.
Otherwise, go nuts.

What about a time-line? to keep track on actions and interactions?
