The wind billowed from the north filling the sails of the Freelancer in its journey south towards the lands Island of Neeran. The Captain at the base of the foremast leaning against its sturdy wood firmly ignoring the request from the crew chief for instruction on weather to make Port at the approaching dock. The captain had more important things to do. He was staring far off into the sky. Avidly searching for flying dwarves. He turned away from the rather miffed Crew Member and called up to the man in the mast. “OY Shannagan! Are there any Dwarves to our Aft?”. “NEGATIVE CAPTAIN!” Came the cry from above.

Blast I had such a good feeling about today too. The captain thought while turning to the ever patient crew chief that was still waiting for orders.

“Why didn’t you ask Winston?” Inquired the captain.
”Because you’re the Commanding Officer at the moment sir”
”Oh… Right.. Well… Anyway… prepare to make port. Also find Liam and tell him to gather some of his less murdery sneaks and his biggest swords., and put together a rotation for shore leave. And if you see that infernal Gnome sleeping kick him to make sure he’s not pretending.”
“Aye captain” Replied the crew member without skipping a beat and went off to fill his orders

The captain turned back towards the Island of Neeran. The only thought in his head being I need a big hat. While he went off to find his First Mate.

Liam was currently inside his quarters (which he shared with three of his most trusted assasins.) when the crew chief knoked his door asking for him.

"Master Liam! erm.. im sorry to disturb you sir, but captain Alric is asking for you and some of your best men! i think we are going to make port soon!"

As soon as he said this, Liam could hear the crew member quickly running away, either he was in a hurry to submit more orders or he was frightened as hell from a bad response from the silent assasin, the thought of this last option made Liam silently chuckle to himself.

"Well, you have already heard what you should do, move out!"

He commanded to his three henchmen, who almost instantly jumped from their bed and began to equip themselves with their combat equipment, Liam himself put his long coat on, and grabbed his tachis from his table, and without a single other word, he left the room, swiftly followed by his assasins like silent shadows.

As he strided across the ship, he could easily notice the furtive looks the rest of the crew gave him as he came across, he was clearly aware of the common dislike the tripulatton had for him, but he didnt give a crap, as long as they left him be and didnt get in his way, he could care less about any of them, after all, his alliegance lied with the captain and the captain only.

He then arrived to the foremast of the ship, were he would silently wait for the captain to arrive...

Doogan was sticking halfway out of Bessy, one of the port ballista, when the crewmate came up.

"Doogan Sir we're preparing to make port."

"Wha.. Hu?...Oh yes just tightening up these gears, don't want anything to jam up at the wrong moment." Doogan said with no trace of sleep in his voice.

"Aye aye sir." said the crewmate smartly saluting and moving off to find other crewmembers to inform of their imminent arrival.

Well my naps been cut short, but hey PUB! he thought to himself as he pulled himself out of Bessy and saw Liam heading to the formast.

"Hey LIAM!" he called out knowing it would irk the quiet man with the big swords.

Faceless was in the galley, reading a book he picked up from the last town they docked at and doing his best to stay away from the water. He heard the crew shuffling about above him. He assumed that they were about to dock. He marked his place in the book and made his way topside.

As he was waiting for Alric to arrive, Liam suddenly heard the voice off the gunnery sargent calling him, he gritted his teeth as he knew there was no real purposse for the shout

That damn midget always took advantage of the fact that Liam has never acted against any of the crucial members of the ship, as much as some annoyed him, he knew most of them did a decent job and killing any of them would only cost him time and money in order to replace them, so he siletnly ignored the gnome´s shout and remained in his spot, waiting...

*Up on the top deck, some crewmembers are loitering about, when they hear a THUD! against one of the doors that open to the deck*

Crewmembers: "?"

*THUD!*

...

*THUD!*

*Muffled behind the door* "Aw fuck it"

James opens the door, with many people giving him strange looks, but this is not unusual for James.

"Bloody Phase-Through Pin isn't working yet! Still not tuned to the ship's arual frequency...."

*James starts to mess with a pin strapped to his monk robe, when he notices Zero walking by....*

"Oooh! Smog-boy! We finally getting to shore? About time! I need some more materials for my Mage equipment."
*Crewmembers all flinch in fear from the namecalling, fearing the worst, as almost all of the crewmembers respect Zero, but he is just as much feared. But nothing happens, as the two strange misfits walk towards Liam*

Seeing his first mate on deck he re-routed his path right back to the foremast. He approaches the group of officers.

well its about time to work he thinks with a grin that was quickly replaced with a serious persona that gave off the aura of authority he required. Immediately the effect is felt on deck as crew stopped chattering and took their work much more
seriously.

The ship while entering the busy dock was a model of military efficiency and thats exactly what was needed.

Reaching the group of officers he looks at each one of them as his Crew Chief, Daniel, Joins them.

"Gentlemen, We are approaching the port of Northpen our intention for this trip is to have ourselves hired to destroy the local wizards school. I'm aware that we only have one mage in our service, but this is a very basic school who's students and "masters" are best described as second rate, with the exception of their alchemist who, as the bars tell us, has no magical ability to speak of. It is this man who is supposedly kidnapping various members of the population and experimenting on them."

He looks at each one of them again.

"I don't want you to confuse this mission with one of virtue or heroism, I am expecting to find some merchants here who are willing to pay handsomely to put an end to this school in order for this island to return to a regular market and not one of constant fear. But if this is not the case then I fully intend on attacking the school anyway. Being as they are violating the basic ethical code of other mage schools I don't think that we will gain any ill will from them and there may be useful tools or allies to be gained in doing so.

That being states assignments are as followed:
Daniel you need to monitor the men. We need a strict code of vigilance. No bar fights, no rowdy parties, nothing that would endanger the idea of our ability to act as a formidable military force. Also put together five groups of twenty men each who will be able to rouse and defend the ship at a moment notice. Also inform the men that they can do whatever they please outside of senseless murder after the job is done.

Winston I want you to get with James and attempt to see what you can find out about this mage school directly. James shouldn't have a problem gaining access and your condition should provide a good secondary option.

Liam you're with me we are going to get off this ship and do a few things. Your three men are going to go pay the dock charges, fully armed and in that menacing manner they perfected when they met you. You and me are going to go to the first tavern we can find and figure out who the most important people around are and find them. I'm encouraging you to beat the shit out of anyone who gives us trouble. Make it quick and efficient.

If there are no questions you're dismissed.

DECK CHIEF Engage with the dock. Were going land side in a moment."

He looks at the group again waiting to see if there are any concerns.

Zero says nothing and turns away from the others. He walks to the edge of the ship and leaps off. In mid-air, he quickly dissipates into a thick black smoke and flies off towards shore.

Doogan finishes tinkering with Bessy and hops up. The Captin is talking to the other officers. Telling them about our next mission i'd bet. Well i hope it brings in more magic componants in. Doogan stretches out a kink in his neck and shoulders and moves over to where the landing ramp will be placed. After all those serving wenches aren't gonna pinch themselves.

Time for some surfing!

*James jumps down after Faceless, and pulls out what looks like two medallions. One for Water, and other for Change. He throws what looks like salt onto the sea below, and uses those salt peices to suck the heat out of an area of water, makes it into a nice thick slab of Ice, and using some Sea Manipulation, gets a small wave going to catch up with Faceless*

When right underneath him, still heading to shore, James loudly, "I wonder if the poor captain remembers I'm BARRED from all Mage/Wizard Schools, due to.... that incident."
James didn't expect an answer, and continued to talk.
"Well smog-boy, this should be fun day, cause no matter what, something bad's going to happen, I can tell you that! And that means a really good time!"

James laughed with joy, really feeling like this is going to be an interesting job.

As Alric finished giving out orders, Liam simply made a nod to his men and they inmediatedly moved out and readied themselves, Liam himself just stood besides the captain waiting for them to leave shore, an almost undentifiable smile drew in his face at the thought of trashing people for the hell of it, he was not a fan of fist fights, but at least it would give him the chance of disscharge his contempt for some of the members of the ship.

A voice shouted to James from within the smoke.

"Just remember, Straw Hat; don't cause anymore trouble than necessary. Even if you were barred from the Mage Schools, I doubt many will recognize you here. And even if they do, you could always try a disguise."

Fixing his cloak, swords and other regalia he calls out to his Gunnery Sargent
"I'm probably going to need something that will knock down a wall, Get on that will you?"
And then dismounts the ship walking with purpose, Liam at his side.

Without speaking to a soul they arrive at the nearest tavern and enter. Alric walks strait up to the bartender, looks him right in the eye and asks

"who's in charge of the trade of this town"
With an expression that combined, awe, panic, and fear all into one he points at a rather fat man in the corner surrounded by people who seem to be writing orders and notations. Around them he notices that there are four men guarding them attempting and utterly failing to be inconspicuous.

He looks over at Liam and nods. "don't kill anyone" he mutters. He strides over to the corner and announces "We need to talk" as the four men line up behind him getting ready to do something very very unintelligent.
