| Book list updated... forgot HoH, HoB, and MoI.
So the current player list is:
Kahou: ?? Cleric Jack: ?? Spellthief Drache: ?? ?? Porgon: Minotaur Druid
I love the way my setting allows for "weird" characters. ^_^
Can take one more player. :) _________________

| Well, I've thought it over. Although there are other things I can do that would be much more broken, I'd like to be a half-dragon wizard please. If that's not possible, than a dragon disciple please. _________________

Good call.
This build Warforged.
1. Artificer 1: Artificer Knowledge, artisan bonus, disable trap, item creation, Scribe Scroll, Skill Focus (UMD) 2. Artificer 2: Brew Potion 3. Artificer 3: Craft Wondrous Item, Energy Substitution (sonic) 4. Artificer 4: Craft Homonculus, Legendary Artisan 5. Artificer 5: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, retain essence 6. Artificer 6: Metamagic spell trigger, Quicken Spell 7. Artificer 7: Craft Wand 8. Artificer 8: Wand Mastery 9. Artificer 9: Craft Rod, Twin Spell 10. Artificer 10: 11. Artificer 11: Metamagic Spell Completion 12. Artificer 12: Energy Admixture, Craft Staff, Extraordinary Artisan 13. Artificer 13: Skill Mastery, 14. Artificer 14: Forge Ring 15. Artificer 15: Chain Spell 16. Artificer 16: Extra Rings 17. Artificer 17: 18. Artificer 18: Empower Spell 19. Artificer 19: 20. Artificer 20: Craft Construct
Does this
At lvl 9
Packing his Wand of Scorching Ray, our man can, given a couple of rounds of prep time, squeeze off 96d6 damage, no save--12 4d6 firebolts, and 12 4d6 sonic bolts. In a dire emergency, he can do this without prep time, but he's going to be burning up a lot of extra charges--12 of 'em, to be exact.
That's an average of 336 damage, assuming all of the bolts hit...probably a good bit less than that in reality, since SOME of the bolts will miss, but some will also crit. Any way you slice it, a substantial amount of damage for a ninth level character.
I didn't come up with this build but I like it. A lot.
At any rate, I might be up to this. Character pending. |

| | Also for stats, are you using a point-buy system? Cuz in general its hard to get people to be honest about rolls. |

| I'd agree with point buy system.
How does 10 all stats + 18 points to spend sound? Also, can subtract 1 stat to add 1 stat.
If you can wade through the bad grammar, how would that be? |

| they have a system already, but i don't feel like transcribing it ATM...

| O.K. here goes:
All stats start at 8, pre-racial adjustments.
point buy is as follows:
9=1 10=2 11=3 12=4 13=5 14=6 15=8 16=10 17=13 18=16
The "middle ground" for points is 25 but the DM might allow more or use less dependent on intended difficulty.
or you could use the good ol' standard set. 15,14,13,12,10 and 8.
That wasn't really that difficult actually...and I'm a DnD nerd from way back in 2nd Ed. so any questions I'll attempt to answer.
Also double post. |

| Heheh. Actually I generally play by 30-point buy, as it's what I'm used to with playing NWN. So have at it.
And yeah Akutenshi, Artificer is the most brokenated thing I've ever seen. The only thing MORE broken IMO is the one Shifter PrC that breaks all the rules for transformative prestige classes by shattering the limits on the realities of stat boosting.
Drache: Half-Dragon is LA +3, but I'll allow it; you'll just be starting at level 1 while the rest of the party is slightly ahead. (Meaning you'll have to take special care not to die.) Consiquently, half-what dragon? _________________

| Howzabout a Warforged working towards the Enlightened fist PrC?
I ran one once...You know about the spellshield variant from Dungeon Delvers?(I think) It replaces a Sorc familiar and lets them spend spells to reduce damage of an attack by 5x(spell sacrificed).
My thoughts are that he is a damaged prototype (/stereotype?)
And it's codename:Zenith to you. Or Sol...one o' them. whatever...
That acceptable ATM? |

| | Oh, I'll sign up for this if you're still taking people, I'm not sure what I'll be yet, probably look at the dynamics and see what is needed. |
