| Hey people. I have a sketch here, and the finished product after I went through Photoshop with it.
Well, here's the sketch.

I named her Rhea. She is a magician of some sort. I tried putting the comments I've gotten from people to work. I know, I chickened out on the hands...(-.-) I'm sorry.
Anyway, this is the finished product. Took me about two hours and it's not as good as some Photoshopped stuff out there, but I'm happy with it.

| | It's not so much that her head is small, it's her upper body that's too big. maybe that's why her head looks so small. Otherwise, it's still pretty good. |

| I think it might be that her eyes are too big... and slightly unfocused. _________________

| I love it! I like the sketch better though.
Everythings awesome except for her Right eye. Paired with her left eye it seems as if she's tarding out, doing a reverse-cross-eyed thingo. Also, the positioning of her hips should be very slightly up more. its seems as though her abdomen is very very stretched out.
You have a real knack for clothing accesories, they sofar seem to be my most favourite part of your drawings. Verily want.

| | Well, I could pretend I understood what Kahou said and agree with him, but I'm not sure that I want to. Still, it's better than anything I've drawn so far. |

| Porportion guide:
1. A person's balled up fist is around 1/3rd the length of their skull. 2. A person's neck is about 1/3rd the size of their skull (unless they work out in which case adjust as necessary) 3. A person's skull is about 1/3rd the width of the total width of their shoulders. Again, unless they really work out then it's slightly under 1/3rd.
The shoulders are what mess up this picture, as the head is clearly 1/4th the width of the shoulders.
Edit: in fact, I bet you dimes to doughnuts that all you need to do is take the selection tool, select the entire body just below the neck, and reduce it by about 90-95%. Then just adjust the neck so it fits porportionally to the neckline and breast/chest. _________________

| Hmm...her head is, in fact, 1/3 of her shoulders.
You can check. It may be a very slight bit smaller than 1/3 but I used 2 headlengths for the width of the shoulders and since my heads are basically 3x2 rectangular grids, it should be 1/3 of the head width. The neck is probably a bit too thick, I'll admit that.
Actually, the proportions play out correctly for the most part.
I think you guys are just comparing her to anime girls, which are usually have the approximate head to body ratio of 1:5. That is the proportion for younger girls, around 15-16 years old. At age 18 plus, you finished growing pretty much and then the proportion changes to approximately 1:6. Rhea was meant to be 19 to 20-ish.
Anyway, it's either that or I just need to shrink stuff down.
And I have another drawing which I did just today. It's an updated version of my avatar. I'm going to Photoshop that too and use it.
Edit: Oh, and the eyes are kind of unfocused. Very slightly, which messed things up. Anyway, I'm going to change that. _________________ Signature has been changed in honor of Valentine's Day. CLICK NOW!
