| Though Maulkin may have forgotten to give me dominion over this forum (he does that on occasion when he makes a new forum) I'm the boss here and my rules will be followed.
1) This forum is for original artwork. Plagiarism will result in your thread being locked, and at the very least you will lose the respect of your fellows. If we feel it is particularly bad, we may just decide we don't want you hanging around anymore. Plagiarism is never cool, kids. Of course, it's okay to post edited versions of art here, so long as you don't try to claim the art as your own. For example, I didn't draw anything in my signature, but odds are (since I don't know what sig I have when you read this) I put a lot of editing work into making that signature. Therefor it's fair to me to claim it as a derivative work.
2) As a general policy, don’t start threads for "your artwork." Start a new thread every time you have something new to show off. It makes everything run smoother. That said, I wont penalize you if you want to post all your art in a single thread.
Edited by Maulkin: Rule two has been stricken. It's okay to make your own 'gallery' thread, or a thread for each new picture.
3) Last, but certainly not least, the NSFW rules.
A) NSFW is any content that has moderate amounts of nudity, sexual content, violence, or language.
B) All threads you think somebody might possibly take offense at, based on the above criteria MUST have "NSFW # -" preceding the title of your thread. If you fail to do this, your thread will probably just be deleted. Written language doesn't really matter. That content type is only in there in case anybody has audio work to show off.
C) The # should be replaced with a code. Use the first letter of the offense content types present in your art, separate multiple types by dashes. This should be followed by a number from 1 to 4 which rates the severity of the content. For example, if I drew a picture of a fellow grabbing a woman's breast through her shirt, the thread title might be "NSFW S/2--Boobies!"
D) 1 is for minor depictions of violence. If there's a bit of blood, this is good. 2 is for something like a little more violence--a large amount of blood. It could also be used for moderate amounts of sexual content, such as the above mentioned over-the-shirt groping. 3 is for missing limbs, and nude groping, or just nudity in general. It might also be used for mild sex. If you use a censor bar, or if it's just briefly stated in a story that it happened. 4 is for the kind of violence that would give Jacob a boner, or for hardcore visual sex.
Edited by Maulkin, addendum to Rule 3: If you are using a sort of 'gallery' thread in which you'll post all of your art, and want to post potentially offensive art, please put clear warnings, in large, bright letters, indicating what will be in the picture, and put the picture in spoilers.
That's it. Note that I don't particularly agree with these rules. However, Maulkin was a little hesitant about allowing NSFW content as it is, and I think we should respect the fact that he gave us that right by being very careful with how we post such content.
EDIT: I know I forgot something, but I can't remember right now. So these rules are bound to change. I'll post if they do. _________________ "Bears have penises. They can stick it in butts." ~LS

| | Thankyou! I really appreciate the NSFW rules. I occasionally go on the forum from school computers, and things would go very badly if the admin was shifting through my cookies to find boobie-lady. I'd probably get banned from the internet server at school at the very least. |

| | Eh. Not as bad as the fact I was on the school server when you guys were having your chatbox orgy. I had to leave as soon as it got started. I would have liked to watch. : ( |

| I doubt you would have been in trouble for that...
Then again, I've never had to deal with a school. _________________ "Bears have penises. They can stick it in butts." ~LS |

| | Schools are anal. But luckily, with the amount of students, the chances of them actually picking my account to look for something naughty-naughty I've done (which consists of any site not used for research, or any site used for chatting or online shopping) are pretty slim. If they did, I would most likely have my account removed for the rest of my time at that school. If enough people went on a site such as this, they'd also ban the site on the school server. Going on LiveJoural is enough to lose your account. |

| Highschool sucks mate. At my school, people even install FPS games and play them in the computer lab. =P
I spent a significant ammount of time during CIS 122b playing Soldat. (I'm sorry Mr. Weise, you're cool...but I learned the basics of programming structure when I was 12. X'D) _________________ "Bears have penises. They can stick it in butts." ~LS |

| Needs to be stickied.
Also, one of my other stories depicts some very gruesome scenes, disembodied limbs, graphic descriptions of the scent of rotting corpses, bowels littering the floor, etc etc..... Should that be marked with a 3, or does it matter much for written? |

| As a general rule, I was thinking written could be knocked down 1 point from a picture with the same content.
Also, I would sticky it, but maulkin forgot to mod me in here. _________________ "Bears have penises. They can stick it in butts." ~LS |

| I'm in a panic. I don't know where to post a question, so I'll post it here and you can delete it after you answer it. Does this forum area include pictures taken with a camera and not just drawn art? _________________ [quote="Maulkin"] You know Kennedy? Killed by a ninja. | If it counts as art, it can go here. And, since photography is art... You get the idea.
Anyway, an addendum to the rating system: Anything taken from the ChatBox automatically gets a rating of 5. (kidding) _________________

Fine. I'll write smaller. Stop now. Go away.
Please?
Did you honestly copy/enlarge this? Hahahahahaha |
