| Whoa, awesome.
I think the leaves could use a little bit more detailing (I wouldn't know where to start on detailing, though, 'cuz I'm not the best at drawing plants), but I love the rose's shading. _________________ check out my art blog and devART. |

| What always helps me is grabbing good picture references...or even looking at it face to face. Another thing you could do is blend different shades of green/red/orange/brown together for it to look more natural. And I think if the leaves are coming from the same stem, they would be about the same color or close to it... _________________ check out my art blog and devART. |

| My drawing skills are nowhere near as good as yours, but maybe make the leaves a little more rugged? _________________ This signature is a line of text meant to signal you that the post you are reading has ended. Fine. I'll write smaller. Stop now. Go away.

| I love the rose ^.^ It looks fantastic. Love the shading =D
Umm... personally the leaves look a little... fake? I think that's the best way to describe them. I think it's the lack of shading on them, when put next to the rose. Whereas you've got an obvious source of light for the rose, the leaves are just sort of... blah. There's no definite lighting source to them. Maybe that'll make them more realistic. Hrmm...
Still... love the rose XD |

| I love that rose.
I tried to paint roses around a scythe and... well... they look like pretty flowers, but not roses.
Roses are really tricky to draw, however they're easy to make out of clay or sculpting putty.
As others said, the leaves should have been a little more rough, also, roses have thorns, you should add them next time.

| Roses are tricky alright, especially if you're going for absolute accuracy, in which case, it's really easy to lose your place!
So, ah, ehem, I got carried away, and did this for you.
