As you may be able to tell later (once you see the picture), it is supposed to be my new avatar. I played around with this a bit more than I usually do in photoshop. See how you guys like it.

Okay, please; get something OTHER than imageshack. The popups are driving me buggy. Also, you can't direct-post images from imageshack, it seems.

Hmmm.... do you get popups on Photobucket? Maybe if you're a member, they don't do the popups... Meh, I dunno.

Anyway, neat art. I would suggest adding wrinkles and stuff to the fabric, though, as it won't be pulled perfectly taut all the time.

Yeah, I'm working on being able to draw realistic folds and wrinkles, but it's really annoying.

You're better then I am. Whenever I draw clothing lines on people it always ends up looking like they're wearing pinstripes.

One thing I can see that looks a tad funky is the angle the wings are on; if he had no wings it would be perfect.

Oh, here's a tip (sorry, you're probably getting a lot of these already)

Work on making red power orbs...or...at least putting more detail into it. At a second glance, it looks like a fuzzy red dot more than anything. Least in my opinion.

But, s'still better than I can do on a computer.

This picture is more of a experiment than an actual work, since it is my...4th picture in Photoshop. I was playing around with blurring and lighting and stuff, so I didn't really expect it to come out very cool-looking.

This picture was really the first time I made people pose other than standing around, so I didn't expect it to come out super-awesome. The wings are off, I just realized that they are too close together and not centered. Oh well. I messed up my .psd file by flattening the image and I'm too lazy to go back and edit everything. I'll probably make a new pic later and add in stuff I've gotten better at, i.e. wrinkles.

I just got to draw more, but I have tests and stuff. At least I'll be able to do some more drawings during Thanksgiving Vacation. Oh wait, not...I have a huge take home test. T.T

Well, I'll make time.

Edit: Oh, and it's not an orb. It's a flame. The hard light made the dark center appear about the same color as the lighter flame so you can't see it.

I wish I could draw that good. Maybe I'll post one of my pictures some time. I don't like coloring them, though.
