The door slammed shut behind him, filling the room with an eerie echo. Harry didn’t flinch, merely set his jaw and continued forward. He glanced about the darkened room.

“Lumos.” He frowned. “Show yourself, Voldemort!”

A high cackle filled the room. The air rippled as Voldemort removed the invisibility spell. “You actually came.”

“That’s right.” Harry cancelled the spell, and the room went dark once more. Voldemort bowed to start the duel. Harry followed, and the battle began.

Curse after curse was dodged and blocked; the spells glanced off of the walls. It was a surprisingly even fight. The endless stream of Avada Kedavras gave the room a sickly green tint.

Voldemort lost his footing and stumbled. Harry smirked and raised his wand to finish him, but was cut short. Voldemort, as he fell, yelled, “Expelliarmus!” Harry’s wand flew from his grasp; the force of the blast knocked him to the floor.

As he watched the Dark Lord rise to his feet, Harry knew he was finished. A malicious light appeared in Voldemort’s eyes as he began the spell. Harry refused to die a coward and looked him straight in the eyes.

“Avada –”

A digital beeping filled the room. Harry blinked in surprise; Voldemort lowered his wand. “Excuse me a moment, Harry.” He reached inside his robes.

Harry glanced about the room and saw where his wand had fallen. Voldemort must have a deadly potion in there, he thought. The Killing Curse didn’t work last time, and he wants to be sure. I’m not giving him that chance.

He looked back. Voldemort was still searching for something. Harry seized the opportunity and dove for his wand. He raised it; Voldmort turned around.

“Keep it down!” He extended a bony finger to point to the cellular phone in his hand. “Hello?”

Harry’s jaw dropped. “What the bloody hell?”

“This is Lord Voldemort speaking.” He paused. “Who is this? Who? Damn you, Severus! I’m in the middle of something here! This better be important.”

“Shouldn’t we be trying to kill each other?”

“Not now, Potter. Severus, what is it? What about a horcrux? How do you even know about those?”

Harry had had enough. Voldemort obviously wasn’t interested in the fight any longer. He raised his wand and bellowed, “Avada kedavra!” The spell hit Voldemort square in the chest; he fell to the floor.

Harry sighed and turned to the audience. “I’m sorry about this. You deserved a much better fight than this. What an anticlimactic embarrassment. Just remember – a cell phone can ruin anything.”

(I'm very sorry. If you don't like it, tell the movie theaters to stop showing those stupid phony previews.)

Fine. I'll write smaller. Stop now. Go away.

Please?

Did you honestly copy/enlarge this? Hahahahahaha

You reminded me about blasphemy I witnessed in one of the TV previews.

I was the usual slideshow of dramatic and scary scenes with various catchphrases but the one that caught me is "the revolution begins..."

WTF? What revolution? It's war starting here! Did I miss a chapter in which Voldemort was already an Overlord and now he's going to be thrown off his throne?

I guess they're talking about the "revolution" against the Ministry of Magic, but that line just didn't stick to what's happening to my view.

Silly previews sometimes.

Edit: wtf double post? clone deleted.

I promise to post any spoilers I find on the forum as soon as I find them (which will probably be a day late because I'm going to a wedding that day.)
