| Again, the background is huge, but is it safe to assume it won't ALL be on the screen simultaneously? Like the old Mortal Kombat games, the background will pan left or right based on where the characters move, yes?
Other than that, I like it. _________________ "For every action, there is an equal and opposite government program." ~ Unknown CC H.M. (#31) CC Winner (#40) CC Winner (#42) |

| | All I could really ask for is bigger people. I don't want to look like a fighting midget >_> |

| | Well, I like spriting on smaller people. And they won't seem like such midgets if they're all the same size. |

| Like Bal, I think the background is still too big, and thus makes our sprites a bit too small for it. _________________ check out my art blog and devART. |

| I'll post an example of roughly how much will be one screen at any one time.

'Bout that. The screen moves with the fighters. _________________

| fuu ... *looks over the HUD* ... I don't like it. It's not that it sucks, or that you shouldn't do it in photoshop alone but ...
how to say this ...
three fillers, a few lens flares, and a grass brush a good background doesn't make.
I like very much the idea of a "second" background that moves slower - like the mountains behind the grass, but then we should do something with it so it doesn't bleed in with the grass. ( brown mountains sound good to everyone? )
Also more shading would be a good idea so it doesn't look like plastic.
Since we're going to keep to the bars way of telling HP, I'd also suggest mocking up a portrait in the corner with the HP bar attached kinda deal, something other then "HP in a bubble" yaknow?
Also - not saying you need to sprite it all out, but if you're going to do it in photoshop there are ways to make it look good. _________________

| I'll let him know Porgon. This was just a shoddy example that he wanted specifics for remember. _________________
