Yeah, you also promoted him as a mod because he was a sprite master, and we have yet to see a single sprite coming from him...

Not saying he doesnt have the skills, but he has yet to prove his worth to the whole proyect.

Thirded. Until I see something that can actually be worked with, i'll have to pass on having Kahou do all the voices for the shy people.

I have a question about this. Are we going to be assigning certain actions to certain buttons? Do we need to preform a combo of moves like HP,HK,Down,Right,HP to do a special/desparation or will it be like a segmented special bar with different stages and once we hit a certain stage say the S key uses a special while X uses a Desparation. Which way will it work?

Well even if you did have to input combos, it isnt very hard to make a button macro so all you have to do is press a button, but if you only have 1 button then you can only really have 1 special and 1 desperation.

True, I believe the desperation moves need to have very LONG inputs, to somewhat balance them. (In instance, most of them could be long movements with a press of certain buttons:
Down, Down-forward, Forward, Back, Forward+HP+HK
For characters that have multi-hit desperations, like Kahou's,
It could work like Neo Deadly Rave (of Rock Howard from KoF), I believe Kahou knows what I'm talking about (seems to play KoF). It works like:
Input that desperation move above, then when the move connects, needs to input attacks in certain frames in a certain order without messing up to get the full attack).

The specials just have a longer input than command attacks, and of course could only be used when having the appropriate amount of special energy, But they work like:
Down, Down-Forward, Forward+Punch. Awesome

Again, working on special and desperation mechanics, but swamped with work, so might post it tommorow, and update the first page with what we know so far (of Kahou's Char Sheet basics, like what a command, special and desperation move is).

I insist, a SF or KoF game play is the way to go, is old school, but its proven and its not hard to implement
