A few hours later, Ardon wakes up. "Okay, so Rikken is a criminal. Should have expected someone from school to be a criminal at the start." He then tries to go back to sleep...

OOC: It's time someone pushed this story along...

IC: Rikken paused slighty thinking of how to exactly to approach the situation at the moment...as it stood there was no chance of a assult attack...Although with a little assistance that could be rectified...All he needed was metal....A reasonable supply of it...More than he had at the moment at least. He decided at the moment to collect bits and pieces of metal.

He had managed to collect a small horde of metal..but was still missing a bit...something that connected the pieces together..he needed something....Human...

He journied into the town in broad daylight. His face hidden by the cloak he was wearing. Keeping mostly to the back streets.. He picked up a haul of metal and needed that human part...He eventually coercied an adult male to follow him back to where he was residing at the moment..Promising him power beyond his wildest dreams...he had already finished drawing the human transmutation circle and a completed suit of armor stood in the center..

He obtained a vail of the man's blood and then asked the man to stand next to the armor and he obeyed..Rikken clapped his hands together and put them to the circle..

The mans body was ripped from it's mortal soul and with quick succession the body was bound to the armor..It creaked and slowly moved towards it's new owner...

"Now.." Rikken said.."Bring me that man I failed to Kill.."

Ezio woke with a start...

Ardon woke up. He did his usual morning activities: got clothes on, ate, and cleaned up quickly, and then he remembered the assignment. He had to use an illusion to disguise himself. He wondered what to disguise himself as for a bit, and then remembered the dead policeman. That was it! A good disguise, and he could try to fool Ezio with it! He tried to cast the illusion. He failed many times, and then eventually succeeded. Finally! "I might actually pass this!" he thought.

Ezio wakes to the sound of loud metal footsteps as a walking suit of armor crashes through his office door.

"What the?!"

The armor begins walking toward him immediately, but its movements are slow and predictable. Ezio dodges the suit's cumbersome attacks while examining it and holding a cup of tea in his hand.

Hmm...this must be Rikken's work. That boy is more foolish and despicable than I imagined to resort to this.

Ezio eventually finds the suit's bloodseal and quickly flings the tea from his cup on it. The red eyes in the empty helm fade and the suit falls to the ground. Ezio stares at it for a moment.

"May you rest in peace."

Ezio alerts the police. They arrive, confiscate the armor, and begin tracing its heavy footprints back to their source.
Ezio quickly gets ready for class and arrives just in time, walking hastily through the door and starting his lessons with the usual kind smile on his face.

Delven continues sleeping as he was never one to wake early of his own accord.

OOC: If you both really want to, we can try to continue. But things are gonna get old quick if Ardon, Ezio, Rikken, and Delven are the only active characters.

Ardon went to his classes. Messing up, sucking at magic, barely passing, the usual. That is, until he got to Ezio's class. He cast that disguise illusion, and disguised as a (currently deceased) policeman, he walked in to the class. He then asked Ezio a few questions about the attack.

OOC: Well, there is always a chance that someone else will come in.

Ezio had been too preoccupied by Rikken's sudden and seemingly random attempts on his life to hear of the officer's death. He was also a bit to worn out from his encounter with the walking armor to make a proper attempt at discerning whether there was an illusion spell in effect. As soon as Ardon began asking him questions, Ezio interrupted while still wearing the same smile on his face.

"Sir, while I appreciate that you're only trying to fulfill your duty, I already answered those questions last night and I'm trying to teach a class at the moment. Please wait until class is over and I'll be more than happy to re-answer all of your questions on the attack."

Ardon says, "Professor, I take it I just passed the examination on a disguise illusion, right?" He then deactivates the illusion. "Plus, sorry I'm a bit late." he also says.

Ezio looks shocked for a moment, then bursts into laughter while shaking his head in shame.

"Well done Mr. Lokothan, well done indeed. Yes, you've passed with flying colors and will not be marked for tardiness. Now please take your seat and try not to let this all go to your head."

He turns to the class.

"What you've just seen is an excellent example of the vital role TIMING has to play with illusions. Even a skilled seer or a mage like myself who specializes in illusionary magic will have moments where they are too distracted or tired to see through illusions properly. Identifying and taking advantage of such moments can be just as, if not more important than the technique and skill used in casting the spell in the first place. Now where were we?...ah yes, animal mimicry."

Ezio continues his lessons slightly more alert than before.

Delven suddenly hears the sound of barking and slowly wakes.

"Huh, what the hell?"

He stands on all fours (still in the form of a large siberian husky) only to see a large, stray labrador retriever growling at him. The next growling he hears is from his own gut.

"Well, ya know what they say, my unlucky canine compatriot."

His sickening grin widens.

"...it's a dog eat dog world."

Delven's jaw suddenly widens and extends into that of a crocodile and he lunges at the labrador, quickly devouring the poor stray in a few bloody bites. Afterwards he reverts to his dog form, lets out a loud belch, and begins sniffing the air to try and find Rikken and Nikara's scents.

Rikken felt the disspearance of the suit of armor. "hmmph...oh well." he said shugging and standing up..the heavy footprints still wet in the dirt..He stepped along the path and towards the gathering police occupation.

A few minutes later the police came across Rikken....after a brief scuffle in which Rikken had managed to break several of the police officer's arms.. He broke away and stole away into the darkness.

He decided to begin the search for Delven...He must be looking for him now after all..

Ezio sits at his desk, finishing up some of the paperwork he was unable to do the night before.

Delven quickly locates Rikken's scent along with that of many officers. He soon smells a strong scent of blood from the scuffle and grins.

Looks like someone had a busy evening.

But his smile fades away as he realizes that Nikara's scent indicates that she left town entirely.

Damn, I guess she either wussed out or found a more interesting target. Guess I oughta tell Rikken the plan's been compromised.

He darts down several streets before finding Rikken, slowly approaching him with the usual smirk on his face.

"Looks like Nikara skipped town. I guess even women who kill for a living are as fickle as the rest of 'em."

His smile fades slightly as he notices that Rikken is in no mood for his low-brow humor.

"So we might as well revise the plan to focus more on getting a nice fat profit outta this rather than killing some random loser like Ezio."

"You may have a point there," he said...in his usual calm voice.."But let us not get distracted by greed. besides i didn't think we had a plan? did we?" watching the corner for anyone that could of followed them....he had left a surprise for them at his base camp...a couple of suits would remove them from his worries.. "You can come out of hiding now." he apparently said to a dark side alley coming off this one..

There was the sound of metal hitting concrete as a suit of armor moved out of the darkness it was hiding in..the eyes of it were hollow and red almost a pircing gaze as though it saw right though Delven's shapeshifting.. he watched him for a few moments then proceeded past him and towards Rikken.."You called master?" a drawling voice issued from the helmet.

"Yes i did actually.." Rikken replied.."This is a shapeshifter" he said nodding in Delven direction.."You might as well reveal yourself Delven...it's not like your the fugitive.."

Delven looked perplexed as Rikken mentioned not getting distracted by greed. His grin returns later on.

"Actually, I'm also a fugitive for my work in Erossus. I'm just not as 'popular' with the Quiral police as you are at the moment. But sure, why the hell not?"

He sniffs for any eavesdroppers before getting on his hind legs and assuming his human form. He stands eye-to-eye with the large suit and looking down on Rikken as he paces about casually.

"Let's get down to business. In case you forgot, I'm a friggin mercenary. I'm not distracted by greed, I'm MOTIVATED by it. I was greedy for the company of that deadly, red-headed vixen AND the money Ezio's trying to raise. So my 'plan' was to help her out while grabbing the money, plain and simple."

He stops and faces Rikken.

"Now why dontcha tell me what your motivation was for helping Nikara? Cause right now it looks like you're just making trouble for the hell of it."

His grin widens.

"Not that I have a problem with that or anything."

"My motivation is none of your concern Delven." he said dryly turning away from Delven.."Our main problem at the moment is Ezio and his motley crew...we have to get though him to get the money...he will be expecting me to attack again....what about you? does he know who you are? and what you look like? because i do have an idea on how we might get that money." he said clicking his fingers...

several bodies emerged and guarded the enterance and exit to this area silently in the shadows...

Delven notices the bodies but pays them no more attention than the suit as he leans against the wall and sighs.

"So you want the money too, huh? Here I thought you were after something else since there's much easier and more legal ways for an alchemist of your skill to make a nice profit."

He sniffs the air, again checking for additional intruders.

"Well I guess Ezio'll raise enough that I won't mind splitting it with ya. Also he has no idea who I am or what I look like."

He looks at Rikken curiously.

"So what's your idea?"
