Sorry if anyone is annoyed with me making this a separate topic, but it kind of annoys me when OOC posting runs rampant in an RP. Ruins the literary flow, and such.

I don't see why not. The fact that you realise your character could be very deus ex mechina makes me happy.

(OOC: So is this "fact checking" operation going to be the start of the...I guess it would be our current main quest-type thing...or will the expedition later with Trinity along as well start it off? See, something like that would most likely be a life-changing event, which means that my character would have to have a pretty big vision about it, and I don't want to jump the gun. :))

In my mind, the "fact checking operation" and the "expedition" were the same thing.just different terms for it. Grab a bite to eat, and they're off. Whether or not this starts any sort of "quest" is beyond me ;)

Hmm... I think it may work best to have the OOC directly in the RP. After all, when posting OOC in the RP, the topic of discussion is right there. In a seperate thread, it could get confusing as to the references.

We can try this thread out for now, but if we start getting confused or something then we can switch back.

Agreed. While I prefer it in a separate post, if it gets too confusing for other people, I am willing to adapt. I am not ruler of the world.

Not yet anyways.

In my experience, short OOC's, like "Sorry I was gone so long I'll make up for it now" work best in-rp. However, long ones or OOC-only posts work best in a seperate thread. For instance, "Can I join?" type posts, or maybe announcements like "My family's dragging me on vacation, I'll be gone for a week, include my character where you can, please" type posts.

*shrugs* That's how the ones I've played worked, and it seemed to keep the flow of the rp without confusing people....

*sigh* As you guys may or may not have guessed from my lack of posting, I don't think I'll be able to continue with the RP. I'm giving you guys my permission to use or not use my character as you see fit.

I'm sorry, but could someone give me a quick rundown of the last couple pages? I'm totally lost.

Fine. I'll write smaller. Stop now. Go away.

Please?

Did you honestly copy/enlarge this? Hahahahahaha

Basically, everyone is outside the experimentation chamber, not knowing exactly what Redro is trying to do or if it's safe. Delven looks like he's going to be taken in by the Knight, Ozzy has been found and reunited with the group, and Redro is half annoyed with them for trying to interrupt his experiment and half happy that they're there to witness it.

I was kind of interested in joining too. But will there be a continuation of the story after this arc of is the cave "it?"

OK then. I've got my character done already, but I didn't want him to just show up in the cave and be like, "Hey I have no reason to be here, but this is what I think we should do..."

Like Razor, I'll hold out for the next arc.
