Well, I like German. :3 It's just has a very crisp sound to it. Most of my characters have German names (it's sad and very true), and Kreuz was originally a character concept based on (surprise!) crosses and her obsession with them. Yeah, she was bad. ^^;

But since then, she's become something entirely different, but her name stuck with me.

I generally don't go by this on forum boards though. mlle. enigmatique is FAR more common.
