| ok I can understand using a boxed cake mix if you're combining it with other things, however, try to make the recipe more than just a box of ready-serve dehydrated food _________________

| What's fun is freezing lemonade into ice cubes and serving them in soft-drinks
Oh, speaking of recipes with soft drinks:
Green Lantern
This is an.... interesting dessert I learned about feshman year. It's suprisingly good.

| Oooh. It's like a crazy Spider, which is normally just plain ice cream in lemonade with topping added.
I'm totally making your version next time I have mint choc-chip ice cream. :D |

| Actually, it's been suggested that dairy products might increase the chances of osteoperosis. Apparently cow milk isn't anywhere near as healthy as they'd have you believe, and by extension suc things as cheese and ice cream and . . . other stuff.
And a cake that's better than sex? If I wasn't such a gentleman I'd have to challenge that claim, r1nn. Kekeke. |

| Okay, on last recipe for today ^^
Soba
If you want Japanese cuisine, but are lazy XD I know there are some Japanese people on these forums, so correct me if I'm wrong.
| Spoiler: | | | Ingredients: -Buck Wheat Noodles (though, you can use other noodles if you wish. whole wheat noodles make a decent substitute)
-Soba Sauce (this stuff is tricky to buy. You CAN find it in supermarkets, but be careful you don't get the concentrated stuff, or you will ahve to add water)
-1 green onion stalk per serving (or so).
directions: -Make the noodles. -while the noodles are boiling, chop the onions. -drain the noodles and put them in a bowl. -add the Soba Sauce and some green onions and voila! -eat with CHOPSTICKS >=(
|
...and that is pretty much the limit of my culinary knowledge ^^
Though I'm sure I can remember other things, given time... _________________ You and your friends are dead.

| Dill Salmon
By Drache. Picture: Goes here when I make it. Description: Not vegan safe and not for vegetarians unless you can eat fish. Nonalcoholic. For dinner or lunch. Time and serving varies depending on how big the original fish is. INGREDIENTS| Spoiler: | | | * Salmon, about a pound fillet * Half a stick of butter (or a whole stick if you are using a gigantic 2 pound salmon) * Seasoned salt or Old Bay seasoning * 3 to 4 table spoons of dejon mustard * 2 teaspoons of garlic * About 5 tablespoons of lemon juice, or more if you like it a lot * 2 to 3 whole lemons, sliced into rounds about 1/4 of an inch thick. * A small handful of dill, chopped |
DIRECTIONS
| Spoiler: | | | Melt butter and combine the butter, lemon juice, garlic, mustard, and dill in a mixing bowl. Place a large skillet or pan on the stove. Take the raw fish and sprinkle the seasoned salt or old bay seasoning directly onto the fish. Cover the fish with the butter mixture. Put the fish in the pan FACE DOWN (this is important) and cook on medium heat with a cover on the pan. Cook till the fish looks about half way done. Flip fish over and place lemon slices on top of the fish. Cover and cook until done. Fish is done when light pink and falling apart. Time and serving varies depending on how big the original fish was. |
Also, I added a picture for the cupcakes on the first page. _________________
