| I know the Brown Recluse poison is very dangerous, I've seen screenshots and heard about my fiancé's friends getting bitten.
However I was never told the size of the spider, I was only told stuff like: I found a brown recluse in my Vette so I left the door open and waited for the spider to crawl out and go away on its own before getting in.
I live in Canada and I've seen 2 inches long spiders quite a few times, mostly in summer of course. I'm sure they weren't poisonous, I just looked at them going around.
I just remembered there was a 3 inches wide one in the basement once and it remained at the same place, my bro was a little freaked out. Then one day I find him SPRAYING the spider with PAINT. He claims the spider screamed. I was there but I'm sure it didnt, but then I was feet away and only heard the spraying.

| | Heh. Well, the bigger ones usually aren't as dangerous--which makes a certain amount of sense, as the large ones can actually hold their own in a fight against a predator anyway. I's da little guys what needs da extra kicker to dere bite. |

| More information, with no pop-ups, on this page, but Kas, STAY THE FUCK AWAY! It only gets worse than Maulkin's pic.
However, for your peace of mind, they are NOT as big as they look in the Maulkin pic--it's been carefully cropped to manipulate the perspective (and sent around the internet, so it's not Maulkin's fault)--they're really about 6 inches across at top size, not frisbee-sized or bigger. |

| Come live in Ireland! We have no creatures that can poison a human being. Not a single one! No snakes, no insects with poison potent enough to cause any more than a mild sting, no large carnivores. The most dangerous thing you're likely to meet in the wilds of Ireland is a badger.
They're vicious bastards.
Also, don't fall in the bog.
My house was invaded by bees a while ago. But we drove them away.

| Sounds like the opposite of Australia. If it moves, it can probably kill you. I've seen a fair few big spiders and snakes around the place. I went over to my friend’s house a few weeks ago during another study break and waiting outside for about 20 minutes because of a large snake sitting in front of their doorway. Once it finally moved I was able to knock on the door and get inside. (On a side note, they were watching Snakes on a Plane when I got inside) I kinda have a small fear of bugs and stuff as well. I also check everything before I use it. Especially my shoes. (Side note again, I found a colony of ants in my F-Zero for the GBA game case. It looked like they picked up crumbs and stuff from around the house and built a nest in there. Took me like an hour to kill them all and clean up my case) But for something useful now: Don't worry Kasai, if it really bugs you (no pun intended) then you could try to stop checking everything before you use it, but I think it's better for you to feel safe than worried. _________________ You're about to die.
