Okay. Let me ask, since you are afraid of men, you must of had a bad event, that shouldn't be named. So there goes my joke on that. Still chuckled at it being in the list.
Heights, understandable, as well as the other things, but do they dictate your life and force you to change your lifestyle, or do you bare with them? |
you wouldnt laugh if I told you why I am afraid of men...
Heights I dont really have to deal with bacause I live in florida and in a small town. so there really is not heights here... I cant be in the dark alone or I'll freak out and just the sound of bees makes me run and hide.

Ah. Well then you certainly shouldn't look at this.
(Naw, don't worry; that one isn't really that poisonous) _________________

| Wtf? I just seen the brown recluse and it's just the size of a quarter?
My fiancé's friends got bitten by those, so the way they talked about them I figured they were tarantula sized.
Oh well, my fiancé told me it's alright as long you don't aggravate them, his friends tend to be a little careless at times so...
And personally, that clock spider is cute to me... I'm probably just nuts though. _________________ Also known as Undead Katharos

1) Honestly. I am really cynical. I would laugh if I saw my family get run over, including myself. I'd laugh if I saw myself get stabbed in a video. So I'd probably laugh at whatever reason you give me. I am an asshole like that.
2) Ah. I can see the dark thing as a phobia, but not the bee thing. Many people do that out of fear. |

| Just remember, there is nothing in the dark that isn't there in the light.
...except, you know, spiders who don't like coming out in the light. _________________

| | *pats on back* Well, I wish you the best. I home that you are able to get over or rid of all your problems. *nod nod* Honestly. I dont care for spiders much, they dont scare me, and I am actually intriged by them. I like to bug them every now and then, but I live peacefully with them crawing around my house. I dont have much though. I have only seen like 5-6 ever since I moved into my new house. |

| Get a night light.
Or go to sleep at 5:00am when the sun starts to go up.

| Kas, I know how you feel. I often feel like I need to check my sheets and such before I crawl into them. I have to force myself NOT to, just so it doesn't become a habit.
On the subject of weird bug type problems, my mom was almost killed by a caterpillar.
It's fur had gotten into her skin and she had such a severe allergic reaction to it that she went into cardiac arrest.
The only reason she survived was because the doctor on duty at the ER had just gotten back from a missionary trip to Africa. In Africa they have similar caterpillars that grow about 2 feet long. They are poisonous to everyone who touches them.
The doctor recognized the symptoms and was able to treat her.
So now, because I don't know if I have inherited the allergy, I do not dare play with the little things. |

| Kas: In all seriousness, I'm with you on the bee thing. Mine's mild, but it's definitely there. Bees, wasps, hornets--anything of that ilk, and I panic and scamper away. And you haven't lived until you've seen a 37-year-old balding fat man 'scamper'.
Katharos: The problem with the brown recluse isn't the size (although it's impressive to northerners like me, who usually only see smaller spiders--there's one good thing about 20-below winters). But even on top of that, there's the fact that their venom is actually pretty serious. While rarely fatal, the bites can leave life-long scarring.
I was down in Alabama for a wedding, and we got into the habit of calling friends in the motel room next door to give them the 'bug report' update. First night was a big-ass spider that may have been a brown recluse (it was about the right size). The next night, we didn't have a bug to report, but a bug leg, easily 2-1/2 inches long. We spent the rest of the night speculating about what the size of the thing that killed whatever owned that leg would have to be.... |

| I don't have too much to add, but I would like to say that I hate spiders as well. It would not upset me in the slightest if every spider in the world were to just curl up and die. _________________ |

| I'm okay with spider. I actually like them. It's spider webs I hate. I mean how could something that's invisible NOT scare someone?? _________________ [quote="Maulkin"] You know Kennedy?
