You dwarves only get bonuses on opposed grapple checks, Thalros, and as a Scout I have bonuses to Fortitude and Initiative to go with Evasion. Now...
*Spring Attacks with a Large Sonic Longspear, Monkey Grip, Improved Skirmish, and Power Attack*
A dwarf in that much armor can never hope to catch an Orc Scout with a light load!

| Not under normal circumstances, but I'm a Dwarven Black Guard in D&D. My party? They're my undead minions, and I force them to keep me buffed.

| Ah, you're well and familiar with D&D. I propose a challenge then. Four orcs versus four dwarves, standard gold by level, 25 point buy. One on one match between frontliner, skill monkey, divine caster, and arcane caster, accumulating to a whole party match. The duels are worth one point, while the team match is worth three. Highest score after all the matches wins. Sounding good so far?

No thanks, I don't play much D&D anymore, and the 3.5 rules annoy me, now.

No thanks, I don't play much D&D anymore, and the 3.5 rules annoy me, now. |
We'll kick it old school, then. Unless dwarves don't have it in them to fight orcs anymore?

Bah, I'm lazy, I have no desire to break out my old D&D, at any rate. Besides, Dwarves were better than Orcs, racially, since the very beginning.
