| I actually think it's only redeeming value is its art. It looks kinda cool. _________________ Most piratical fox you're likely to see.

| He said that he wanted a tattoo, and that he went with Tim Buckley's design. Personally, if he honestly thought about getting a tattoo, that's great. And I think some people here deplore webcomic authors and artists WAY too much. Most of them are average guys, not the monsters and horrors some of you put foward. Tim Buckley, in my opinion, is a guy who started a gaming comic for fun, it spun into popularity, and he's doing his best to please his fans. If his writing isn't your cup of tea, fine, you don't have to read it. But don't insult the fans. I know if someone came into these forums, started a topic about how much Mookie sucks and is a complete hack, I'd consider the guy a douche. This guy is a fan of CAD, and he wanted to get a tattoo that represented gaming, so he used Tim Buckley's design. I can't see how this would be fail. Now I'll be the first to admit I facepalmed at the guy who got not one but TWO zune tattoos without a second thought.

| I don't know anything about what is behind the symbol, and perhaps that make sit fail, but the thing itself looks awesome and full fo win. _________________ Then stand aside, for I grow bored with this charade. | Yeah, that thing is epic fail! It's nothing compared to my Dominic Deegan tattoo.
[/sarcasm]
Anyone who would get a dominic deegan tattoo has no right to criticize this person; consider that before passing judgement. _________________

| I have no problem with Webcomic artists, no issue beyond Tim's ilk.
I have the same problem with Buckley that I have with Scott Dewitt of Fanboys.
He thinks he has legacy. The only redeemable thing about his comic is Chef Brian, which is fucking sad because the webcomic is supposed to be about games.
And even then Brian is only KIND OF funny when you are drunk.
His comic has yet to spawn one remarkable catchphrase or meme, let alone have any outstanding quality. But he sets himself up as this "grandmaster of the art" This guy is not Mike Kraul. Even Scott Rooshamir has more pride in his work, and he never fucking updates.
All Control Alt Delete is, is a meal ticket for it's creator. It's has no function, or meaning. Every gimmick he has come up with is just an excuse to sell shit.
The Zune thing, while ultra toolish, can indeed, be looked upon in a weird cultural light, as a Zune can be manifested in culture as a device that can be used to display and manifest culture. The Zune was created to play Music. In a weird way, It would be no different than a music lover tattooing a boombox on his arm.
The "Church of Gaming" is pure commercialist bullshit.
To tattoo it's symbol on your body permanantly is a vulgar display of stupidity.
If he wanted to show his live for gaming, why not an NES controller, or just a D-pad itself. Prehaps even Mario's hat, or or the Triforce you know, SOMETHING OF SIGNIFICANCE TO THE CULTURE OF GAMING HE CLAIMS HE LOVES SO MUCH. Why would he choose a symbol, that for all intents and purposes was meant to sell shit. Hur hur buy a church of gaming shirt. Time for wintereenmas, but a wintereenmas coffee cup. The guy is fucking worse than American greetings.
Everything about CTRL-ALT-DELETE is in effect, stolen in some fabric from Penny Arcade.
The characters even look alike, in a physical sense, not an artistic sense. Zeke is nothing more the Div, and Lilah can stand in for either of Tycho and gabe's wives.
My virulence comes from his complete inability to realize that he is not respected. He has no artistic merit, and he never will.
The only thing I can give him credit for as of late is the choose your own adventure comic. That was cool. I actually went to the site to check it out. _________________

| And it's a tattoo that expresses love of gaming; not so much love of Buckley. _________________
