Thalros's Character

NAME: Thalros
DESCRIPTION: A stout, gun totting man with a drunken disposition.
CONCEPT: Heavy Hitter
BACKSTORY: Background is in the Storyline (Take 2) section.
RIVAL: Ark, that smug, Dwarf hating bastard. :P

BASIC ATTACKS:
Light Punch - A thrust with his axe.
Light Kick - I short chop.
Heavy Punch - An overhead chop.
Heavy Kick - A horizontal slash.

COMMAND ATTACKS:
Axe Toss - A simple forward attack that throws the axe low to hit a crouching enemy slightly outside his general range.
Duck Hunt - An upward attack in which he pulls out his Blunderbuss and fires, hitting an enemy directly above him (NOTE: Keep the range short to keep it from being overpowered).
Mongoose Strike - Thalros spins with his axe out, attacking on both sides.
My Little Friend - Thalros fires a round directly in front of him doing damage slightly greater than his Heavy attacks.

BASIC THROWS: (NOTE: My throw concept may be difficult to impliment. If it can't be done, I'll think of something else)
Beard Toss - When the enemy gets close, Thalros's beard reaches out and ensnares their body, tossing them into the air.

SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Blunderblast - Thalros unslings his blunderbuss and fires a buckshot round. Everything immediately in front of him is blasted. Moving away from him or behind him will avoid the attack. (NOTE: This should be one of his few quick moves. With as close as the range is, it'd need to be fast to compensate)
Immolation Trap - Thalros sets a small beartrap on the ground which deals fire damage if stepped on. Disappears after a few seconds.
Here, Catch! - Thalros tosses a stick of dynamite at his opponent, causing heavy damage if it hits.
Excuse Me - Thalros takes a drink from a tankard and belches loudly, causing damage to an opponent directly in front of him. Should be interuptable.
Beard Strike - Thalros's beard stretches out to strike his opponent. Should have a medium range, avoidable by jumping.

DESPERATION MOVES:
Beastial Wrath - Thalros whistles for his Frostsaber, Raine, who leaps across the stage in a horizontal pounce, damaging the opponent if hit. Simple jump can avoid it. (NOTE: Again, this one should be faster than most of his attacks because it's so simple to dodge.)
Kegger - Thalros points at the opponent and laughs. A large shadow is cast beneath the opponent and they have just a second to get out of it before a massive keg lands on them.

VICTORY PHRASES: Pose should be him laughing heartily at his opponent.

"Ha ha! Is that all ye've got?"
"More fun than a drinkin' contest!"
"Who's short, now?!"
"Kicked yer ass."

DEFEAT PHRASES: Pose should be him on his knees shaking his head.

"Where has all the ale gone?"
"Forgive me, brothers."
"Ye cheatin' bastard!"

Kegger and Gunplay should be Desperation Moves.

I don't understand the concepts of how this g a m e will work. I'm just putting what I want here, let the programmers decide how to impliment them.

um, hey thalros, i thing you should post some more special attacks, characters usually have at least 3 of those, and you only got one, special attacks tend to be what define a character.

also, you being a heavy hitter i suggest you make one of these moves a special trow attack for massive damage, just thinking out loud tough.

Dwarfs don't quite say "Throw" to me.

Massive Axe Attacks, however, would fit in quite nicely.

(Kahou, I'm not into reading DD anymore and I'm a mod of this forum, haha.) But oh well, I can understand why she wouldn't want to join. :P
