| I know that, but I just can't get past the thought of the avatar itself.
Random picture of my Gaia avatar at it's peak.

| Faceless: I edited your first post to include the picture. Also, please make your character's move set more balanced; if there will be no big bosses besides Devourer, only rivals, then I don't think it's a good idea to have such a powerful character. _________________

Bwuh? His attacks look powerful, but aren't really all that great. The main idea is just that he has these really flashy attacks that look like they could instantly kill you, but they're about as powerful as any other character's. I didn't think he was even that powerful. _________________ "The third generation of Pokemon has too many monsters with knives as random body parts. | *shrugs* So long as the programmers understand that the attacks do normal amounts of damage, it works, then. _________________

Um, are you saying this is unadvoidable? Seems way too overpowered for a special. Only desperation moves should be unadvoidable, as you can only use it once per battle (roughly). To make it balanced, make it that it's like a homing attack, where at the beggining, the 'cage' of attacks (a small area that if they are in when the move starts, they get pummeled by the attack), start where the enemy was when you disapeared, but if they move at the right time, the attacks misses (though you can control this 'cage' to move till attacks are used up). How its still useful is to use whe you've cornered the enemy or they're getting up from an attack, or they just used a slow predictable move, leaving them in one spot or slowly moving for a moment.
| Quote: | | Cosmic Wrath: Faceless raises his arms and a flurry of dark purple orbs of energy/meteors rain down from above off-screen. |
Again, another unadvoidable. Or did you forget to mention that this covers a small section of the screen, so if the enemy moves fast enough, they can get out of the way?
Spam! is balanced. Though de-railed just needs a note that the attack can be avoided by jumping.
Overall, your attacks are 'hit-or-miss'. Someone fighting with this character needs to know when to time the attacks and use the more stable attacks to put them in a situation where they can't dodge the specials. Though this can be true of all characters in a fighting game, yours is even more dependent of that stragety. I like it though, just needs some balancing not to be too overpowered, though if he's a little stronger that's fine (he is a sub-boss after all).
Oh, and by the way, am I the only one who noticed this?

Every attack can be avoided by blocking. The Cosmic Wrath only covers a small section of the screen, the section where Faceless is standing and a little bit further. It's like Blackheart's Armaggedon from MvC2. I will edit the Faceless Mirage. It does seem unavoidable, doesn't it? I'll have to specify that all attacks can be blocked and avoided if you're careful enough. I'm bad at making characters, so if anyone has any ideas as how to "balance" him or any other attack ideas, then let me know. _________________ "The third generation of Pokemon has too many monsters with knives as random body parts.
