NAME: Savaran Darklight

CONCEPT: Mage Priest - Caster type. Basically, high damage, low def.

DESCRIPTION: Savaran Darklight is a Mage, with some Priestly abilities, and as such, his main strength is the casting of spells, especially of purification and light, with some extra elements thrown in for good measure. For a concept of what he is meant to look like, see image below.

BACKSTORY: Savaran comes from a family of powerful Mages, charged to guard the world against those who seek to disrupt the balance of Light and Darkness. Having inherited his family's extreme talent at magic and mastering the control of the elements at a young age, he turned to the path of a Priest in order to learn the spells necessary to augment his efficiency in combating the minions of the Devourer and the Devourer itself. After years of training, he has become a Mage Priest, adept at using both elemental and light magics to defeat his foes.

BASIC ATTACKS:
Light Punch: Savaran hits his opponent with his free hand.

Light Kick: A flash of light knocks Savaran and his opponent apart a
short distance, damaging the opponent.

Heavy Punch: Savaran hits his opponent with his staff.

Heavy Kick: A rock spike blasts up from the ground.

Crouching Attack: Sweeps his staff at ankle level. The light version just hits them for damage, the heavy version knocks his opponent off his or her feet.

Jumping Attack: Jumps and releases a blast of hail that streaks diagonally toward the ground. Heavy version is slightly bigger with more spread than light version, but moves a bit slower.

COMMAND ATTACKS:
Spire: Same as heavy kick, except three rock spikes come out of the ground, covering a larger area.

Static Blast: Same and heavy punch, except bolts of energy come out of the crystal at the top of the staff and hit the opponent for a few more hits.

Flash Teleport: Savaran uses his magic to move at light speed, disappearing and reappearing a set distance away. Direction determined by arrow keys, while distance is determined by if you hit the light or heavy attack button when using this. Light=short, heavy=long.

BASIC THROWS:
Pulse Shock: Grabs the opponent by the neck and sends pulses of electric energy into his or her body, doing many hits of minimal damage.

SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Flash Assailant: Savaran shifts into light speed, then reappears behind his opponent, launching them into the air and doing a combo with his staff, ending with a blast of fire that slams them to the ground

Focus: Savaran disappears and several beams of light blast the opponent from different angles. He then reappears.

Light Array: Forms an area of targeted ground in front of Savaran, indicated by a glow in the affected area. It does absolutely nothing until Savaran uses this combo again, at which time the affected area is blasted with beams of light.

DESPERATION MOVES:

Elemental Doom: Savaran slams the ground with his staff, releasing a wave of rock spikes that knock the opponent into the air. Savaran leaps into the air, using his staff to call a bolt of lightning that strikes the opponent, slamming him or her back to the ground. Ice spikes erupt from the ground where the opponent fell, impaling them while Savaran finishes the combo with a downward swing of his staff, blasting away the ice with an explosion of fire.

Light Cage: The screen brightens and rays of light cut across the screen, somewhat like a grid of lasers. Each beam does damage and slight knockback to the opponent for the duration of this move, while Savaran can simply walk through the beams to attack.

RIVAL: He doesn't care much unless you happen to be doing something to threaten the balance between Light and Darkness, so, unless that's what you're doing, he is just a regular friendly guy. If you are disrupting the balance, however, he will blast you with all he's got.

Victory Pose: Brushing the hair out of his eyes and turning slightly away, with a kind of "whatever" expression on his face.

Victory Quotes:
-"Was that really necessary? Or do you just like losing?"
-"The balance has been restored."
-"May I recommend some training?"

Losing Quotes:
-"Well, it was going to happen sometime."
-"As long as the balance is maintained."
-"This was...a setback."

Background: A temple-like forest, with a halo of light coming from above.

Music: Haven't really thought about it. Something quiet and flowing.

Errr, Phyx... you need at least 300 posts to make a character. Unless Faceless thinks you've contributed to the forum in a significant manner, I don't think your character will be approved...

Huh...well, I don't really mind. It was a creative effort. Although, is there a rule section somewhere? Maybe I just haven't looked enough.

Uh, PhyX, I already have two people as my rival, may I suggest you looking into someone else? I suggested that before Thalros and Taluria confirmed they wanted me as a rival ^^;

Since nothing has been done to/added to the sheet since the 19th of march I'm just curious if you still want your slot in the game. I'm just going through and seeing so, you know, if we have any people who are still interested in this.

Uah, yes, I do! I haven't been here a while, sorry! Been doing schoolwork, stuff like that.

Also, I'm working on a sort of concept drawing, although I'm a bit busy. It should be done in, oh, 2 days.

Yeah, I know, I haven't been on in a while.

Well, anyway, my first act back is to upload a concept for Savaran, and also completely change his character. I hope I'm still in this, but I'd understand if I was cut or something.
