Taluria's Character thingy

NAME: Taluria (Character's real name is Rosalind Johnston, but she goes by Taluria)
DESCRIPTION: A Steampunk girl with short, purple hair.

Uses a large (as in about half her height in length) wrench as a weapon. Maybe add a black top hat to her outfit...
CONCEPT: middling speed, heavy hitting character with lower defense
BACKSTORY?: The captain of the H.M.S. Jabberwock of Victoriana, Taluria, was quite alarmed when they were pulled off course. She had traveled time and dimensions before, but never had she been forced to do so by something external. The airship was badly damaged as she and her crew tried to pull back on course. Two men were lost in the time-slip. They ended up crashing in a forest, and most of the remainder of her crew were either injured or killed. Taluria vowed to come back for them, but she had decided to find out who or what had done this. She believed her ship to be damaged beyond repair, but if only she could find another ship, or some other way home to get home. Unfortunately, that may not be easy.

Apparently, had happened recently to cause people of this place to become excessively violent. Therefore, since she couldn't bring most of the ship's weapons, she brought along her most treasured possession, a wrench she had used back when she was a mere ship's mechanic, and a few guns of course. With the intent of fnding information, and gifts for Her Majesty, King Sashsa, she set off. (Note: Victoriana is in another dimension... what fun!)
BASIC ATTACKS:
Light Punch elbows the opponent toward the middle of the body.
Light Kick A short kick toward where the opponent's knees would be
Heavy Punch Overhead swing with the wrench
Heavy Kick attempts to kick the opponent's feet out from under them
Jumping Downward swing of the wrench
Crouching Upward jab of wrench
COMMAND ATTACKS:
None
BASIC THROWS:
Forward Throw Point blank shot in the stomach with ray gun, which throws the opponent backward.
Back Throw Snags the opponent's neck with one of the ends of the wrench and uses it to flip them over her head.
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
For Her Kingship: Smashes the opponent repeatedly with her wrench from various angles
Captain's Gun: pulls out a small ray gun and shoots at the opponent
The Sun Always Rises: Hits opponent into the air with her wrench, and shoots them several times before they land.

DESPERATION MOVES:
Broken Time: creates large gear shapes in mid-air that fly at the opponent.
For Victoriana!: Calls out some of her crew, and leads them in a volley of shots
Iron Courage: Temporarily negates all damage and ups speed

WINNING POSE/ACTIONS: Dusts herself off and leans forward as though to check on the opponent.

WINNING QUOTES:
"You could've just answered me..."
"I say, good show!"
"Come on now, I'd have let you join the crew."
"I need tea, posthaste!"

STAGE: Forest with a crashed airship in the trees, or some kind of factory/warehouse

STAGE MUSIC: Something upbeat with Victorian-Industrial sounds( gears shifting and clanking, steam being released, that knd of thing) someting like this and this

Hmmm, I like the music but I dunno, with your character I just see something lighter playing. your character does not give off the kind of darkish tone that this song does. It is still a good song, just doesn't seem to click for me. *shrugs* It fits your character, just seems a little...off, sorry ^^;

Awww... Thanks anyway ;)
This and this are some of my favorite Steampunk songs, just for the feel, but they're still a bit heavy for this character.

Taluria, you need a more in depth backstory for your character. See the Goals topic to see the requirements. I would also suggest a few more moves.

mmm, seconded, tal, you definetly need to add more special moves and one more desperation move, the standard of a 2D fighter is usually 3 - 5 specials and 2 -3 desperation moves.
