LMS Round 1 - Call to Arms

Welcome, combatants, to the first round of Last Man Standing!

One by one, the combatants enter the arena: a massive room filled with square stone pillars. It seems to stretch upward forever, all the way up to the bright lights in the ceiling. Every pillar has a light on each face, and lights line the walls as well. A soft, feminine, computerized voice would resound as the door closed behind the last of the combatants.

"Welcome, warriors, to the first round of the Last Man Standing competition. I am your host, Lamasta. It is my pleasure to introduce you to your very first arena. This will be a simple all-out brawl. A few nice surprises have been packed into this tight space, including Simulants, Arms Crates, and Traps. If you wish to shop, simply engage your hud and request whatever items you may require. The money will be deducted from your account and the requested item will be added to your inventory if there is space."

Another voice sounded out, this one deeper and darker.

"I will be the Judge for this match. Infraction of the rules will not be tolerated. Repeated ignorance of the rules set out for this match will result in punishment and eventual termination. Absence for a week's time will result in termination. The reward money for all combatants terminated by my hand will be awarded to the last player to attack them."

"Combatants, get ready! Three...two...one...BEGIN!"

(Can you give an example of a post real quick? I want to know what I can do and what I cannot do. Like, I want to sprint as far away from the spawning points as I can and start capping some Simulants.)

(There are currently NO Simulants in the arena. Moving is meaningless in most cases, and unless there is a hazard, will be a Free action. See the Rules, along with the LMS example I posted in the original topic, to know what to do)

Okay, I shop at the armory and buy some cheese, which I immediately consume (this is a *permanent* increase in health, right? Not just a single round boost?). I then fire a shot at Swifto as well.

Maul purchases Cheese!
Maul consumes Cheese! Maul's Maximum HP increases by 10!
Maul fires at Swifto with HK USP!
Maul hits 1 time!

Queuing into her HUD, Chris orders up a Med Kit, amusedly watching it materialize before sliding it into her back pocket. With a smirk and the flick of a tongue, she pulls down her visor and takes the safety off her gun.

"Heh...looks like some people can't wait to draw blood..."

She bides her time for now.

To Maulkin: Yes, Cheese is a PERMANENT boost. However, you do not GAIN the health from the purchase. Your HP is now 100/110.

Keeping his gun to his side he looks around the arena. This ought to be fun... but before the killing can start, there is the style factor to consider. Flinching as the first shots are fired Drops enters his HUD and browses to the Shop. Where was it? He had seen it somewhere and it... AH! There it was! Drops clicks the picture and starts grinning, as a pair of sunglasses materializes directly over his eyes. It might not have the smartest buy, but definately the coolest! Style, check. Killing... in progress... Drops unholsters his gun, closes his eyes, twirls around and fires at the first person he sees.

*Buys Sunglasses*

Never being in combat before James started to panic but got hold of himself Starts the hud and look at the menu of the Armory. See what he wants and buys it. Purchased Cheese. Quickly James eats the cheese. Pulls out his glock and fires at the one who shot the first bullet

Faolan opens his HUD and looks for the armory. He selects a medkit, and stores it in an inventory space. He then unholsters his gun and looks around for a target.
He chooses and fires a shot at Java.

Razor quickly slips back among the pillars, placing his back against one as he draws up a small HUD menu. He holds out his empty left hand and smirks as another USP appears in his grip.
