| Man, I so can't wait for this to finally start... If you ever need hgelp designing anything feel free to ask me. I like designing stuff, at least in words, since I'm unable to draw even a straight line, but I really enjoy desgning stting and weaponary and stuff like that.
Man, I'm sounding like a crazed madman... _________________ I wish the world Love, Peace and Lemoncake!

I direct you to the afore-mentioned Genesis Shadowrun game. It's definitely sufficient enough to learn of the atmosphere to make an arena out of.
Or Unreal Tournament.

Or Warhammer 40,000..... THAT one would be wicked... |

| You know what would be seriously mind-bending? A Happy Tree Friends Arena! _________________ I wish the world Love, Peace and Lemoncake!

| How is player OOC and IC knowleged going to be handled?
For example, if one player kills another, do all players instantly know this because they can read the post, even if there was no way they could witness the act in the game? |

| This isn't RP folks. If it were, it'd be posted in the RP Board. It's an arena. A forum game for fun. Everyone can see when everyone dies. Hell, it's generally assumed you're all in the same basic area. Even then, if you WERE RPing it, all messages would appear on your HUD.
IC and OOC Knowledge are one and the same. _________________ The man with the shades.

| I have the weapons list for Round 1 all ready (the standard Armory listing, as well as the Arena-specific bonus weapons that will be available). _________________ The man with the shades.

| | Are you gonna wait until Maulkin sets a section up for this, or post it in another thread to be moved later, or.....? |

| I'd rather this has its own section before putting up the Armory. _________________ The man with the shades.

| Ah, a'ight, sounds good.
Just a small question.... If we get successful enough and have a lot of cash to throw around, can we get personalized weapons [within reason, obviously a rocket launcher in a medieval setting wouldn't work. There's an arena idea, a melee-weapon only battle... hm...]
Just a thought. |

| No...there will be PLENTY of weapons to choose from eventually that you won't want or NEED custom stuff.
If you have a specific request, throw it my way, but chances are I've already got an arena planned with that weapon or something close in it.
Certain environmental or arena effects would force people into melee combat.
You keep your weapons between rounds. So, you'll have guns and whatnot from this first round. Say round 2 takes us to Ancient Japan. You'll be shooting at Ninjas using Shotguns. However, you'll be able to pick up some NICE melee weapons in that arena. _________________ The man with the shades.

| ah...... A'ight, sounds great so far!
Though, if I wanted to submit a weapon into the Armory [a heavy pistol by the name of Predator, from Shadowrun] that anyone could buy and use, not just me, and I wanted to fill a template of info for the weapon, I'd need to see the stats on some other weapons beforehand, so I can compare it to......... um....
Y'know, that sounded better in my head. Never mind.
