Strange, I've seen that smiley in a lot of forums, it seems to be fairly commonplace. Can one copy the smiley-pic and then the smiley will be available?

I think it would be best if all of us just posted the smileys we want to keep, instead of all we don't want (cause I'm guessing the ones we want to keep are far less than the ones we don't want).

I want to KEEP these smileys:

Very Happy Smile Shocked Laughing Mad Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes Wink Neutral

IMHO, emoticons/smileys should express feelings and nothing else, so let's just keep it simple and basic and throw away all "strange" smileys. The basic ones are sufficient.

Not ones that *you'd* never use, ones that *people* would never use. For example: OMG FURRY!!!

Now, you'll probably never use that, but there are enough furries on this board to merit it's usage.

We need to do this voting some other way, I think...

but I can't think of another idea.

Anything would be less convoluted than, "Vote not for what you don't use, but what people don't use." Because everyone is omniscient...

The easiest method: have everyone post fifteen "favorite" emotes and fifteen "waste of space" emotes. If an emote on someone's "waste of space" list shows up on someone's "favorite" list, then it won't be removed.

Simple as that.

Favorite emotes

Awesome idea, tender.

Also, I vote for tender to lose the "GONE" rank, unless he really wants it, which is OK too.

And just to make it easy on Maul, I go with tender's emotes. Because I'm too lazy to make my own list. D:

Hmmm... I like the Spanish Inquisition emote, though, as well as the Lost Thread one... But otherwise, yes, I approve of the 'use/don't use' list.

Anyone else have some thoughts?

Yeah, I'll probably change my "rank" soon enough.
I'm almost bored with it.

I don't think many people use the puke emotes. ( :repuke: Ugh... )

and I think is a good emote that everyone would enjoy using.

Oh r1nn, you know those puke ones are fun. :P Though I stand with the emotes that I posted earlier. I doubt that anyone would mind those 15 going kablooey.

I use the puke ones occasionally, but I would not terribly mind the double puke one going bye-bye.

I also like the Spanish Inquisition and Lost Thread emotes, but other than that I agree with tender's list.
